There are many homestays opened by locals on the side of Taohua Lake, most of which are renovated from local farmhouses. This time we chose Qingyuan Taohua No.1 Homestay mainly because it is unique, has a good landscape view, and also has a large platform facing the lake. 🔖Tips: Taohua No.1 Homestay has two buildings, No.1 courtyard and No.2 courtyard, located on both sides of the lake-side path. The No.1 courtyard is close to the lake, and the No.2 courtyard is on the other side of the road. This is the first time we booked this homestay, we didn't know, we booked the No.2 courtyard, the view of the No.2 courtyard is relatively worse. There is another taller homestay by the lake, blocking most of the view. But the second floor of the No.2 courtyard has a public hall with a projector, and it's quite comfortable to work there at night. The room we booked, 202, has a quite large enclosed balcony where you can leisurely make tea. In addition to many homestays by the lake, there are also some farms opened by locals. We ate there at night. The housekeeper of the homestay recommended a farm by the lake. Breakfast on the second day is from 8:00 to 10:00. Breakfast is eaten on the large platform by the lake.
