The weather cleared up this morning, so I went to the Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome as soon as I got up. I also walked into the Peace Memorial Museum. When you get off the streetcar at 'Atomic Bomb Dome-mae' from Hiroshima Station, you can see the Atomic Bomb Dome right in front of you. I visited around 8 AM, and there were already many tourists, including foreigners and student groups. It is a must-visit place for Japanese people as well when sightseeing in Hiroshima. The park is very spacious, well-maintained, and includes the Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Bell, Cenotaph, and a museum within its grounds. (The museum admission is 200 yen for adults) It is also famous for the beautiful cherry blossoms that bloom along the river in spring.

The food here is reasonable and cheaper than in Osaka.
