Schwerin Castle is a magnificent castle built in Schwerin, the capital of Klenburg-Vorpommern. It is built on an island in Lake Schwerin! It takes 1 hour! There is also a parking lot nearby. The garden is filled with flowers and the castle is surrounded by a lake, making it a very elegant spot. It’s a hidden part of the Schwerin garden where there’s very beauriful yard with an old tree spreading there branches around with the green and beautiful small canal. Since 2024 Schwerin Castle is acknowledged as Unesco World Hertitage and its absolutely worth a visit. You can see it from the outside and aswell the amazing gardens free of charge. Inside visit and tours cost some Euros. The sourindings are also picture Postcard Lake areas and huge parks. I was informed that I could enter the limited time only "Treasures in Dialogue" exhibition at the Schwerin Castle Museum too. The exhibition "Treasures in Dialogue" showcases an exquisite selection of Netherlandish paintings (16th to 18th centuries) and European decorative arts. There were only a couple of people in the whole museum, so I could slowly take my time to relax and admire the masterpieces. 😊👍 #europetrip #germany

#familytrips2024 Address: Schusterstraße 8, 19055 Schwerin, Germany A lovely quiet Mediterranean restaurant in the city centre of Schwerin, I visited the restaurant after the visit to the beautiful Schwerin Castle 🏰. I had a walk around the city centre before I found the restaurant and ordered pasta. The serving was quite big and beautifully plated. It's delicious 😋 as well. The restaurant ambience is quiet with dim lighting. It's not a very big restaurant but over the other side of the restaurant, they have tables for bigger groups.

#familytrips2024 Hotel Am Schloß Address: Heinrich-Mann-Straße 3, 19053 Schwerin, Germany Located just around 10 minutes away from the Schwerin Mitte station and around 15 minutes away from the Schwerin station, the hotel had a nice view of the castle and lake. The town shopping area can be reached by walking or via bus too The room is quite big with a dressing table and dining table. Overall it's a comfortable stay and a nice base to explore in Schwerin.

In spring, it's the perfect weather to have a relaxing stroll around the serene garden and enjoy the lush greenery and view of the castle and town. This will also be a great place for families and friends to relax, play and have a picnic. There are also benches around for you to sit down and relax. The statue of Reiterstandbild Friedrich Franz II is also found here.

Lion monument is in the center place of Schwerin. Here is the main market place of the city. The symbol dedicate to the victory of Schwerin’s founder. From here you can easily go to St Marien and Schwerin castle. There will be some events and market here for people who come around if you come to Schwerin so it is the place that you shouldnt miss! Eiscafe Valentino is located in Schwerin on the main street MecklenburgStraBe. The price is not expensive at 1.5€ and there are many flavors to choose from. The shopkeeper is friendly and gave me a lot of it, so I had to say that was enough. Today I ate the caramel flavor, but it was a bit sweeter than the ones in Stralsund and Greifwald, but it was still delicious.

#Traveling and studying #mytripvlog Carrying hunger by train from home to Schwerin for a total of three hours, I was so hungry, walking past a shop that looked delicious, there was crispy duck too. When I arrived at the shop… AHHH… There was a buffet just in time. Oh my god, please bless me, I haven't eaten Thai food for a month. The price for the lunch buffet is 14€, not including drinks. The food line is not very long, but it's delicious and truly Chinese. Most importantly, you can eat as much as you want. There are fried food, rice (squealing), and fried rice. The crispy duck is sooo crispy, so good. Light comes out of your mouth. At a cheap price, too. The fried button mushrooms are delicious, but I think of the fried shiitake mushrooms at a shop near Ari. That one is more flavorful, but it's still very delicious. There are desserts and candied lychees. Worth it, worth it, so worth it.

Schwerin is a city located between Hamburg and Berlin, near Rostock. Traveling from Hamburg, it takes only a few hours to reach Schwerin Central Station, also known as Schwerin HBF. This station is quite large and has a unique red brick building. Inside, there are restaurants and restrooms, but you have to buy your own toilet paper. The platforms are not far apart, but you have to go down and up the stairs if they are not adjacent platforms. There are trams and buses right in front of the station. You can take them to various places, but most of the attractions are not far away and you can walk there. #mytripvlog
