Parkview Square

There were a number of times whereby I was in the bus as the bus passed by this majestic building. One day, I decided to invite my ex colleague and colleague to explore this building.
When we came to the front of the building, the building indeed looked so grand. We came to know the name of the building was Parkview Square which was actually an office building. We took some photos outside and went inside.
Once inside, we were captivated by another sight. The sight was a classical restaurant. It looked so beautiful. After that, we went to the second floor where there was a exhibition hall open to public.

Parkview Square, Singapore's Gotham City
Parkview Square building is located on North Bridge Road, it is the iconic, art deco building that stands guard over Kampong Glam and Bugis Junction. It was so stunning and spectacular! The building is always referred to as Singapore's Gotham City or Batman City due to its striking resemblance to the fictional Gotham City in the Batman films.
It is easily accessible by public transport, within a 5-minute walking distance from the Bugis MRT Station. Definitely worth a visit if you happen to be in Singapore. Anyone who steps into the building will be in awe.

Outdoor art gallery at Parkview Square
Address - Parkview Square, 600 North Bridge Road, Singapore 188778
Located a short walk away from Bugis MRT and shopping centre, Parkview Square has earned the name of Batman or Gotham building because of its eclectic Art Deco design. Right on its doorstep is a huge outdoor atrium space that is home to a display of amazing art pieces.
As you walk around to take in the significance of these works, I believe you’ll be able to sense the inspiration and expression behind them. I was very much filled with awe at these massive works of art. Definitely worth a visit.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Famous Gotham building
Address - Parkview Square, 600 North Bridge Road, Singapore 188778
The Parkview Square building is well-known colloquially as the Gotham building by locals in Singapore! With a dark, gloomy facade along with gargoyle-looking statues along the sides, it’s easy to see why it could look like it came straight out of a Batman movie. Its design is heavily influenced by post-modern, neo art deco styles of architecture.
It houses commercial spaces, a museum exhibition floor and the epic Atlas Bar. I love how exotic yet mysterious this building looks, it is really very unique and stands out from the other surrounding buildings.
My overall rating of the experience: 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Singapore Travel | Humming Jay Chou's "Mojito" while enjoying a drink at the palatial Atlas Bar
This 1920s New York-style bar, Atlas, is famous for its extensive collection of spirits🍹, making it a paradise for liquor lovers! Asia's number one bar truly lives up to its reputation for opulence and grandeur. A 15-meter-high gold and copper liquor tower displays a dazzling array of over 1,000 bottles of gin🥃 and more than 200 types of champagne🍾️, with a prized 1910 London Dry Gin at the very top.
.
The moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a sense of luxurious elegance. The classic exterior, the red velvet sofas beneath the liquor tower, and the soft, retro music instantly transport you to a European aristocratic ball of the last century. The Art Nouveau French Art Nouveau design and the Baroque ceiling frescoes create an atmosphere of extravagant splendor. Here, you can enjoy a sumptuous afternoon tea with your best friends, or savor various cocktails and dinner. Remember to book in advance though~
.
🍸: The cocktails, Gin & Tonic, and Martini here are worth trying, as is the incredibly girly "Summer in Paris," with its sweet and sour taste that awakens your inner child.
.
🍰: In addition to their drinks, try the afternoon tea set for two. The two-tiered dessert tower features savory treats on the bottom and sweet ones on top. The waiter💁♂️ will introduce each item in order.
.
⚠️: The bar has a dress code; slippers and shorts are not allowed.
💡: You can ask the bartender to create a custom cocktail based on your preferences.

Singapore’s Gotham - Parkview Square
#newyearnewtrip #singapore
This place is known as Singapore’s Gotham/ Batman’s Building for its unique exterior and interior. I wish I got more photos but it was quite late when I went.
This place was so astonishingly amazing to look at. I was surprised that Singapore had a building like this just lying around. If you’re a tourist planning to go to Bugis or Haji Lane, I definitely recommend seeing this big beautiful building up close as I saw many tourists taking photos near it too. They seem to have art exhibitions there quite often too.
Happy Travels ~

Parkview Water Garden
#thingstodo
After your busy day of work around the Parkview area, you can take a rest at the waterfront garden just nearby the Parkview square building. There are many benches there for you to take a seat. While I was there, there were many people chatting with each other and enjoying themselves at the water garden there. It is also very peaceful and relaxing to see the beautiful colourful plants that are beside the water garden. If you are shopping around the bugis area, you might want to take a walk here. It is just five minutes walk from the bugis train station.

Arts in ParkView Square
#2024wish
ParkView square is a less known spot by people. It’s pretty interesting and serene to visit this spot and look at the interesting sculptures here. There are also greeneries around. The most eye-catching one would be the golden crane that’s in the middle of the Park View Square that is believed to has certain feng shui to this place . On the sculpture there is a poem talking about homesick too.

My 2024 travel wish is to visit Phuket. I would like to visit their phi phi island .I would like to try out their local fresh seafood such as the mantis The shrimp which are very tasty and flavourful. I would also like to shop at their big supermarket and enjoy their exciting night there too.
The park view square is a magnificent grand building that has an arts exhibition gallery at its entrance. It has attracted many to stop by to take pictures with it. The gallery is free for everyone to visit. It is just a few minutes walk from the bugis train station.

Gotham City Building in Singapore?
I always just pass by this building whenever I'm in the area. I got the chance to go around the building and take photos when I went to Atlas for high tea. This building is called Parkview Square. It is an office building in Art Deco Style. It was magnificent both inside and out. Sculptures and ornamentations can be seen at the vicinity of the building. Gargoyles were also used for the exterior of the building. The colors used also contributes to it's striking appeal. Just walking alongside this building feels other-worldly because even the foothpath or arcade is adorned with art deco style chandeliers!

ATLAST Singapore

ATLAST bar is one of the greatest hidden gems in Singapore. If you are looking for an iconic place where you can take a lot of great pictures with some really good food and hang out with your favourite people, i really recommend ATLAST. They offer lunch and afternoon tea. The interior of the place will make you feel like you are in New York in the 60s. Dress up and enjoy the ambience.

Planning my Village Hotel Bugis staycation and I am here walking around Bugis area. There is this gothic looking building which I have to pass by on my way from Village Hotel Bugis towards Bugis area. There were no doors so I went there and there were many artworks around the foyer area. The building was closed but their foyer area is open and anyone can enter. There were at least 5 to 6 artworks on display. The most interesting artwork for me will be the 4 men standing on each other. This is Singapore’s first open air museum in a commercial building.
