At the MRT station's ticket office, purchase an EZ-Link travel card for a 5S$ fee. To refund, you must return to the airport's ticket office; the card will be deactivated. It is recommended to top up as needed, as the card cannot be used with less than 3S$. Hotels require a credit card pre-authorization or a 100S$ deposit for check-in. The pre-authorization and refund of the deposit are processed quickly upon check-out, so don't worry. Gardens by the Bay's Supertree Grove has a music and light show at 19:45 and 20:30. For photos at Fort Canning Park's spiral staircase, go early and queue orderly. The National Gallery Singapore is a comfortable visit, recommended. Use Yodao to translate photo descriptions smoothly. The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple has an elevator directly to the top-floor garden, then you can visit each floor; knee-length attire is required, aprons are provided at the entrance if needed. Sultan Mosque is also worth visiting, with a grand hall and shoe removal at the entrance. For the Night Safari, buy tickets and Chinese tram tickets in advance; there are four walking trails, and animals are active during the evening feedings. Both the S.E.A. Aquarium and Universal Studios are fun; the aquarium is less crowded in the afternoon and closes at 17:00, but you can tour freely inside. On weekdays, the theme park is not crowded, and you can check ride wait times and show schedules with the Universal SG app, allowing you to experience everything in one day. Staying on Sentosa Island, you can enjoy three beaches, feel the sand and sea breeze, and take the aerial cable car system for a panoramic view of the city's night scene.
Various food courts, Maxwell Food Centre's Lao Ban Soya Beancurd and Hainanese Chicken Rice, Tang City Food Court, Toast Box, Ya Kun Kaya Toast, Song Fa Bak Kut Teh, and the traditional Nonya kueh at Granny's Secret in VivoCity are very delicious and affordable.
