took a grab from kuantan and spent the day at the small beach resort off panti telik Cempedak it took around fifteen minutes ro get there and only cost around 9 ringgit. There was plenty off blades to get refreshing drinks right on the beachfront, such as McDonald's, Starbucks, KFC and Subway. There was also local vendors there aswell selling beach essentials such as inflatables, buckets and spades etc. The beach itself was beautiful and clean no rubbish anywhere to be seen which was lovely to see. Only problem was there was red flag out meaning there was no swimming aloud in the swa that day so only got to dip my feet I but was lovely and warm

Those who went to Kuantan, don’t forget to visit Teluk Cempedak! The view there is very nice! As I went on weekdays, I was not surprise that there are not so many people here. There are also a lot of monkeys here. So I suggest you to keep your item secure and bring some food to apease them hehe.

Starbucks at Teluk Chempedak Kuantan is usual Starbucks coffee but with amazing view near the beach.The interior and the view is so good,feel relaxing and enjoy the coffee and desserts.Usually crowded but it is a good place for photo shooting.

Visited the beach during rmco period on a weekday and there was hardly anyone. Just a few enjoying the breeze and of course snapping away at the famous Starbucks outlet! The police was even rounding the area reminding everyone to adhere to the SOP and to wear masks which most of the people already were. The beach was beautiful but there were some litter here and there as there were a number of restaurants nearby. Great for a short getaway and it's only about 3 hours away from KL! Dinosaur Encounter Zoo Teruntum Address: Jalan Padang Golf, 25050 Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia Highlights: The park is quite large, segregated into several themes. Herbivore dinasours are on the left side, and Carnivorous dinosaurs are on the right. I was amazed to the moving dinosaurs, especially Brachiosaurus! It was super tall! The 30 minutes show was entertaining and fun, twice per day at 11 am and 4 pm. You get to touch the artificial Dino eggs and baby T-Rex haha. Kids would love the indoor games, but the ticket is a bit pricey, RM16 per person considering just a small space and limited games available. There are cute animals like zebra, deer, ostrich, peacock too. The staffs are really friendly and helpful. I love their smiles! #themepark #skiadventure Rating: 4/5

Went for a long drive from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan yesterday. Haven’t been there for few years. Still the quiet town that I remembered. Full of memory of my younger days where I spent lots of time at the pantai cempedak. Facing the South China Sea, the heat of the sun these days makes the breeze especially soothing. Whenever drop by to Kuantan (Pahang) , Teluk Cempedak is a must-visited place. To be honest there's nothing much. Be careful with the monkeys. The forest looks like their homeland. Too many of them carrying their babies, some tame but others may still gone wild. #triplocal Hyatt Regency Kuantan just completed major refurbishment recently. Hotel was closed for few years and now back to regain status as top resort hotel in Kuantan. Strategically located in Teluk Chempedak, Hyatt enjoys full occupancy during weekend. Unfortunately, the standard room is too small for a 5 star establishment and rate is too expensive.

Even though it just a short 2D1N trip but it was memorable to me. Kuantan is a very nice place to chill for couple or family furthermore the location is about 3 hours drive from KL. I choose Hyatt Regency this time and guess I’ve made the right choice. It was indeed a romantic stay where the resort located next to the Pantai Teluk Cempedak where you can watch the sunset and feel the cosy vibes. The swimming pool is warm and I really enjoyed my coconut drink at the pool bar. The next morning I had my breakfast and the breakfast spread was extremely interesting. Most happening beach at kuantan. I was here 24 years ago for the 1st time.. and today it's definitely different. a large number of F&B available here and so are some local market and some good quality restaurants.
