#familytrips2024 Hallstatt is definitely one of the most beautiful town in Europe. This time I went to Austria Hallstatt with my family and the view was absolutely incredible and insane. The small village in front of the mountain just made the view become more peaceful and stunning. Moreover, the lake also reflected some of the village views on the water. They all looked gorgeous. Another great place to look at the whole Hallstatt lake is on the observation point, you can take the cable car to the top and see the whole view. Highly recommend you come with your family! #Hallstatt

Hallstatt is a recommended day trip from Salzburg, 3 bus transfers to get to the place from Salzburg. 2-3 hrs ride costing EUR 33 per person, but there are scenic moments along the way. Overall a worthy day trip. Recommended if you have extra time in Salzburg. Board bus at main station. Hallstät is like picture perfect and is a salt mine town with pretty scenery and history.

Hallstatt is a village on Lake Hallstatt's western shore in Austria's mountainous Salzkammergut region. Its 16th-century Alpine houses and alleyways are home to cafes and shops. A funicular railway connects to Salzwelten, an ancient salt mine with a subterranean salt lake, and to the Skywalk Hallstatt viewing platform. A trail leads to the Echern Valley glacier garden with glacial potholes and Waldbachstrub Waterfall. If you are planning to go to the Skywalk Hallstatt, please buy a ticket to take the up and down furnicular in advance so you would have more time. There is a restaurant up there but you have to be early. Don't go at noon because too many people and the place will be packed and definately long waiting. Yellow and red maple leaves enveloped the town and the lake, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere, and the maple leaves and traditional houses reflected in the clear lake were truly fantastic🍁✨ In particular, the view of the town from the observation deck was a highlight that could not be missed.
