#familytrips2024 #awesomepic #visitmalaysia
Definitely one of the fun and adventerous activity that you should not missed while in Pangkor Island. I was not so familiar with ATV Riding but after received few lessons and tips from a guide, I managed to ride comfortably throughout the whole route. A guide was riding along with us and we stop few times at some spots for pictures. He even offered to take these beautiful pictures for us. Safety helmet, briefting, snacks and riding lessons was included on my RM80 per person package. Enjoy your adventure!

Beautiful Beach, Pangkor: A must Visit
#yearofrabbit #newyearadventure #tripblazers #awesomepic If you like to chilling by the beautiful and calm sea, do visit pulau pangkor!
It was super easy to come here. You can come to Pangkor via Marina Jetty, Lumut - only 10mins ferry & you’ll arrive at Pangkor Jetty!
There’s a lot of hotels/accommodations selection at Pangkor. Personally, I’ll stay at Pasir Bogak instead of Teluk Nipah, less crowded and way more clean and beautiful sea!
Pulau Pangkor is now a duty free island! Variety of chocolates here, no need to go to Langkawi for duty free goods 😌
You can go around the island by renting a scooter/pink van. Easy! enjoy guys.

Pangkor 🏞️
Pangkor is a great place to relax and unwind. It has beautiful sandy beaches and you can take interesting boat trips round the coast. There are excellent seafood restaurants, for example in Teluk Nipah, and duty-free shops for those who like shopping.
You can’t forget the whole meal experience as well and it really makes a big difference whether the food was top notch or otherwise. After all, this was meant to be a 5-star experience.
This is a decent enough island. It has some minor attractions, some shopping and some decent beaches. It is no Langkawi, Penang or Tioman but is close enough to Kuala Lumpur for a short vacation#spooktaculartrip#awesomepi#couplestrip c

Islamic Architecture in Style
Visiting Pangkor Island, we stumbles across two mosques with different architectural designs. The first one that we went to was Masjid Sungai Pinang Kecil, which has Oriental elements from the design of the some, the pillars and the gateway. Sad that we didn't have enough time to look inside the interior, in the future, maybe. The next mosque that we went to was the Floating Mosque, which is situated not far from the jetty ( correct me if I’m wrong). Really great design, ample spaces and comfortable. The interior is very intricatey design, and the sound of the ocean makes one feels more peaceful inside. Wishing to visit there again soon. #awesomepic

Dutch Fort ~ Kota Belanda @ Pangkor
#historicalfort #wartime #fortsinmalaysia
You may have heard for the red fort at malacca, and that is super touristy. If you prefer something new or less touristy, can consider checking out the Kota Belanda Dutch fort when you make a visit to Pangkor island.
Given that this is less commonly visited, would have to say that it is in a much better preserved condition. If you know how to capture good shots, you will be able to get some interest shots here, pretending to be soldiers. If you have kids interested in military related items, consider taking them here before visiting the beach at Pangkor just to visit this historical site.

Shop Duty Free at Pangkor

If you do make a day trip to Pangkor island, do not miss checking out this place - duty free shop called pasa mini sna.
Had thought that items on the island will be expensive but prices where were so cheap that it is stunning ;) You can get unique items back home as gifts as well as other than selling normal lollipop for instance, they have it inside backpack which your kids can also reuse for day to day purposes.
They also have unique ferrero chocolate bars and also perfume for those not into eating.

Chill with clear water and beach, Pangkor
#bucketlistreboot #beachesandclearwaters #chill #islandhopping #daytrips #nearipoh
If you are near Ipoh and am trying to find a place to take you away from the feel like city life, consider a day trip to Pangkor island.
In here, you will find affordable shopping for snacks, food stalls so food is not a worry and also water sports for those that love such things.
Ferries are at a thirty minutes frequency so do plan ahead of time to save time and also, ensure you catch the last ferry out of the island at 530pm unless you plan to stay there. As it is a crowded place as more places open up, would suggest that you get the return trip fast.

REVIEW :
BILIK :
Bilik luas, selesa, masuk bau wangi je. Bersih, cuma ada stains sikit kat tilam, kat siling ada kesan gam lekat ballons. Ada la tu yang buat suprise party. Tilam agak keras. Sakit badan tidur. Haha. Ada iron, kettle, tv. TV basic je. Takde astro.
View depan bilik cantik, betul betul depan pantai. Lepak beranda sambil layan bunyi ombak, bangun pagi layan sunrise.
BILIK AIR : Toiletries basic je. Paip air sinki longgar sikit. Water heater ada tapi tak function pun. Tak panas. Ke tak reti guna. Haha.
WIFI : Ada, tapi kami tak guna pun sebab tak main hp sangat. Line telco sendu sikit area sini ya.
STAF : Very welcoming. Staf friendly, senyum je kalau jumpa. Kalau tanya apa apa jawab baik baik je.
SWIMMING POOL : Betul betul menghadap pantai. Pool besar puas mandi. Ada pool juga untuk kanak kanak.
Ada Cafe sebelah resort. Senang kalau nak makan. Sebab area sini takde banyak kedai makan. Kena pergi Teluk Nipah or Pekan Pangkor.
Nak sewa motor kat sebelah resort pun ada. Boleh tanya receptionist. Area sini banyak monyet. Jangan tinggal barang merata habis digeledah nanti.
Pantai bersih. Seronok jalan jalan sebab weekdays orang tak ramai. Depan sikit resort ada buaian boleh ambil gambar. Banyak bot bot parking. View cantik.

A small island with a big adventure
#staycation #smallisland
Never thought I would fall in love with this small island. Pangkor has been gazetted as a Duty Free Island in 2019. A small island in Perak with many great views.
To explore the hidden gems within the island, rent a bike and explore the little 'lorong' in between the houses. You will find magnificent views towards the coast and the lovely locals!

Pangkor Island lies just off the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia and situated in Manjung District of Perak. It is endowed with scenic fishing villages, beautiful beaches, sparkling turquoise waters, a number of historical and religious spots.
Pulau Pangkor became a tax-free island from January 1st, 2020. It is very accessible from Lumut by an efficient ferry services.
Island Hoping and snorkeling for RM70, some of the stall have great good during sunset.
There is a long stretch of white sand along this beach. The surroundings are clean and the waters are warm and good for swimming.

Pagkor island, Perak.
The name of the island comes from the Thai 'Pang Ko', which means Beautiful Island. It actually concerns a group of islands with Pangkor as its main island, and next to that a trio of smaller islands: Pangkor Laut, Pulau Mentagor en Pulau Giam. Pangkor Laut is the best known of these, because of the idyllic resort you can find on this small island Pangkor is a mountainous island; the highest point is at 1216 meters (Pangkor Hill). Since the main island consists of just mountains, the roads are lying in a circle around the island which makes it easy travelling around the island. Visitors can rent a car for 50 ringgits a day.
The island has a number of international hotels/resorts; it can get quite busy during school and public holidays. There is no real best time to visit Pangkor; as the island’s weather is the same all year round.
Together with Langkawi and Penang this is the best choice if you want to visit a wonderful island on the western side of the peninsula. Approximately 30,000 people live on the island, most of them in Pangkor Town and the villages surrounding it.Pangkor Island lies within the state of Perak, about 85 kilometers from Ipoh (the 2nd biggest city of Malaysia), and about a 3-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur.

Pangkor Island
A beautiful quiet island for a short stay. We rented a scooter and was able to drive around the entire island in a day, stopping at various locations to enjoy the views. We stayed in Teluk Nipah where there was a lovely beach nearby.
Not very lively at night, general stores open late.
Pangkor Island is a place where you can go for relaxing. The maximum stay I suggest is 3 days 2 night unless you like water sports and beach activities. You can find our local food here. Seafood is a bit expensive but fresh and tasty.
Take note of the ferry times to return to the jetty terminal. If you are taking a bus from KL, expect a few pit stops along the way as the busses usually take small town routes to drop off or pick up passengers.

📍PANGKOR ISLAND PERAK
Pangkor Island is stunning, and while there are several beautiful spots to visit, Teluk Nipah stands out as one of the most picturesque. It’s known for its calm, turquoise waters, soft sandy beaches, and relaxed atmosphere—perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or even water sports. You can also find cozy beach resorts here, making it an ideal spot for a quiet getaway.
Another gem is Pulau Giam, a small island off Pangkor, great for snorkeling and exploring marine life. If you’re looking for some history alongside beauty, Fu Lin Kong Temple and Dutch Fort are interesting cultural spots.
