Really imposing, almost eerie atmosphere walking through the Palais de Justice. It is currently partly under construction but you can still enter it for free and walk around a section of the building. The architecture is extremely symmetrical and austere, and people seem to sort of wander around from room to room looking into courtrooms and spaces that are all almost the same, creating a sort of maze-like atmosphere.

The highest court in Brussels is located here. The palace can be described as majestic and magnificent. The architectural style is like Romanesque, with these columns, these steps, these sculptures, all having the taste of the Roman Empire. Next to the Palace of Justice, there are some landmark attractions. One of them is quite impressive, seemingly commemorating Germany's occupation from 1914 to 1918. Another one is located next to the Ferris wheel, commemorating World War II. Altogether, it means that Belgium was beaten twice by Germany.
