#gohiking this is a very special place in Pai. first it’s one of the best place to watch sunset, lots of locals coming here to watch sunset. secondly, the road is not well paved yet the walk is very scenic and you can enjoy the stunning valley view as you walk around. it’s also free of charge, the hike itself could be challenging since the routes are not constructed well. however it’s worth visiting

Enough of the little town of pai, the food in pai why not head out right outside of pai towards the pai canyon which is only a short 12mins drive down south from the little village of pai. The Pai Canyon is a tourists attraction, and although this is a tourists attraction this place is free to visit, if you do not have a transport from the pai village you can also rent a motorbike for only 150baht but utmost care is recommended. Do remember when doing this hike, do wear a good pair of walking shoes as the hike after the 1st view points can get abit scary as the hike has an unprotected hiking path where the drops can be scary if you miss a footing. But most people come here for the scenic panoramic sunset from above but the further you hike in, the more quiet and pristine it gets. Thailand's Grand Canyon! ? That's a bit of an exaggeration (lol) You can walk freely along the narrow paths that remain due to erosion! It's a world of complete self-responsibility! lol But on the other hand, it's a tourist spot where you can enjoy nature as it is. As I know Pai is a one of the Peace city that many foreigners would like to visit and live here too. Pai is well known as a laid back mountain town set in a pretty valley with a bohemian atmosphere. It’s a great place to try out some of the nearby activities like bamboo rafting and elephant trekking. It’s also a great destination to just come and chill out and soak up the ambience. The walking street market comes alive at night and is a fantastic spot for shopping and cheap eats. The first time I heard about it was because of bankruptcy. The world's most beautiful canyon: a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction, a world geopark, one of the top forty most beautiful scenic areas in China selected by American CNN, Longtan Grand Canyon is a deep canyon formed by the downward cutting of purple-red quartz sandstone by flowing water, with a total length of 12 kilometers. Inside the canyon, the gorges and narrows are distributed like a string of beads, with clouds and mists, splashing rapids, red rocks and green shades, sheer cliffs, and the marks of water cutting and erosion from different periods are very clear. The spectacle of landslides and earth fissures formed by collapse is rare both at home and abroad. It is difficult to get there by public transportation, so you have to take a scooter, taxi, or tour. Admission is free, and motorcycle parking is also free. When visiting Pai Canyon, your attire is important, but it is safer to wear sneakers, not slippers. But have you head about this town called Pai, which is located up north of changmai approximately not more than a 3 hours drive.
