Great place to see sunrise with spectacular view on the island.. We need to hike approximately 300 steps. Prepare your stamina! The best time to see is actually for sunrise, but I hiked for sunset instead. Turns out that was better, bcs there was literally no one else. It felt like a private island. My visit to the Padar island near Komodo island, Indonesia was an unforgettable experience and we took a boat tour from Labuan Bajo at dawn and arrived on this beautiful island in the morning. We hiked the mountain on the island which was a great exercise and it was beautiful to take in the views, as we rested on our way up to the top. It had an incredible views of the 3 different coloured beaches in white, black and pink. Also you can see Komodo island in the distance and a beautiful sunrise. 😍 The water looked so wonderful and blue by the beaches although, the one pink beach we visited on Padar island had ocean trash washed away on one side of the beach. It was a magical place for me to visit this Padar Island, the unforgettable place that I had visited. There is about 800+ steps to hike to see the most magical nature. The feeling when you see the beautiful sea from the high place is definitely very satisfying 😍 It was tiring to hike, but every step is worth it as soon as you reach the high point you will how beautiful the surrounding islands. What will reward you at the top is possibly the most beautiful sight in Indonesia. It’s only a 1 hour hike to get to the view point at the top, but it’s pretty steep with unstable ground. To get to Padar island you will have to take a boat from the main land of Labuan Bajo which takes around 3 hours, but is usually combined with a trip to Komodo National Park. Take a look at the tour operators on Labuan Bajo and see which day trip best suits your schedule. No trip to Komodo is complete without a selfie with the world’s largest lizard, and these are almost guaranteed in these sacred islands. The best place to see them is Rinca Island. Padar Island which is the third largest in the Komodo National Park area can also be your tourist choice. The location of Padar Island is between Rinca Island and Komodo Island. So you can see the entire Komodo National Park. And this island is closer to Rinca Island than Komodo Island which is separated by the Leech Strait. Maybe the name Padar Island is less familiar to tourists because the name is less famous than Komodo Island and Rinca Island. However, the beauty of Padar Island is no less beautiful than the two islands. Padar Island or popularly called Gili Padar in Flores is like a photo studio set in beautiful natural scenery. How not, the beauty of Padar Island which is included in the Komodo National Park is indeed incredibly beautiful. Padar Island is also accepted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, because it is located within the Komodo National Park area. Even though it is located within the Komodo National Park area, Padar Island is not inhabited by Komodo dragons due to the broken food chain. I went on a group tour to not just Padar Island, but also Komodo and snorkeling too. We snorkeled through vibrant coral gardens, swam with fish in every color — and just floated, completely in the moment. ⛰️ Padar Island Viewpoint The hike was steep. The heat intense. But the view? Unreal. From the top, three crescent beaches curved below — white, black, and pink. A scene so surreal it felt like a painting. We stood there breathless, and not just from the climb. 🌊 Manta Point Nothing prepares you for it. The moment you see a manta ray glide beneath you — silent, massive, otherworldly. Hidden between the blue sea and blue sky of Indonesia is a surprising island - Komodo Island. The 1️⃣ stop is "PADAR ISLAND", Padar Island, the human Sarda. You need to climb a mountain, but there are stairs, so it is basically not difficult. Just pay attention to sun protection if the weather is fine. There will be more people at the photo spot and you have to queue. It takes 30 minutes to reach the top, and you can see the beautiful scenery of four bays. The 2nd stop is "PINK BEACH", a pink beach that is visibly pink. You can play in the water, pick up shells, have a drink in the small pavilion nearby, and watch the deer. Stop 3️⃣ "KOMODO ISLAND" Komodo National Park, looking for Komodo dragons. The park entrance fee is not included in the cost of the entire trip and needs to be charged an additional 400k per person.
