Off the MTR Admiralty station and easily get into the mall directly. It brings joy and excitement to everyone. This restaurant is located in Pacific Place, Admiralty, and it's really great! Their Auntie AYI logo is inspired by the traditional 'Ma Jie' (domestic helpers in the past), giving the restaurant a touch of nostalgia. The decor is elegant and exudes a high-end feel. For starters, they serve shrimp toast with caviar and perilla leaves. The shrimp is fresh and sweet, the caviar is savory, and the perilla leaves add a refreshing touch. Another dish is the sesame chicken salad, made with their signature chicken. The portion is half a chicken, with tender meat and aromatic sesame on the skin. They mix it with various ingredients, symbolizing good luck and prosperity. The Suzhou-style crab stuffed orange is another highlight. The crab meat is fresh and sweet, perfectly complemented by the sweet and sour orange. The crispy rice soup with coral trout uses crispy rice instead of noodles, paired with the luxurious coral trout, making it incredibly fresh and sweet. The crispy rice absorbs all the fish's flavors! The 20-year-old Huadiao wine steamed egg with Western Australian lobster is a must-try. The precious aged Huadiao wine and the Western Australian lobster make the lobster meat tender and sweet, while the steamed egg is incredibly smooth. Lastly, the flavorful whole goose pot includes various parts of the goose like liver, kidney, and blood, with a rich broth that will make your mouth water! For main courses, there's the satay Wagyu beef claypot rice with a runny egg. The Wagyu beef with savory satay sauce and a smooth egg, along with the crispy rice at the bottom, offers a rich texture. Auntie AYI fried rice with crispy fried dough sticks is another specialty. The fried rice is fragrant and dry, while the fried dough sticks are crispy and aromatic. The Shaanxi-style oil-splashed noodles with black pork char siu are also worth mentioning. The noodles are chewy, and the black pork char siu with a slightly spicy sauce is incredibly flavorful! For dessert, there's the Hong Kong-style egg waffle with ice cream. The egg waffle is rich in egg flavor, and the ice cream is sweet and refreshing. The ice cream Sachima is another unique dessert, with the fluffy texture of Sachima paired with sweet ice cream. The family-sized ice cream with grass jelly is a perfect summer treat, with the chewy texture of grass jelly and the refreshing ice cream.

The soft and fluffy cake is filled with the rich fragrance of Dajia taro, combined with mochi, providing a very rich layered taste. The creamy texture of the cream perfectly balances the stickiness of the taro and mochi, making it very delicious. Stayed at my current favorite hotel in Hong Kong!

The Upper House Hong Kong "The hotel is the destination." Ranked fourth among the world's best hotels, The Upper House is nestled between mountains and sea, presenting the richness of Victoria Harbour with the warmth of home in this fast-paced land. An 80 square meter sea view room near Pacific Place is really hard to rival in the Hong Kong hotel industry. The hotel's design is the work of Andre Fu, with the design concept emphasizing 'slowing down': there are no close buttons in the elevators, and the sound is a specially made chime instead of a hurried bell. Even the bathroom in the room is designed with several steps, giving a sense of 'stepping into' it. After walking through the hustle and bustle of Pacific Place and past the hurried crowds, entering the softly lit lobby also calms the mind. The lobby is really small. After check-in, the staff will take you to your room for an introduction. Right in front of the entrance is the signature corner window of The Upper House Hong Kong, especially the moment when the view shifts from the corridor to the seascape outside the window as you enter is very impressive. Sitting by the window, you feel like you're embracing the entire panorama of Victoria Harbour. The overall design of the room is minimalist luxury, with streamlined furniture and subdued tones creating a secluded homey feel. All beverages except alcohol are complimentary. The bathroom is very luxurious, occupying about half of the room, allowing you to enjoy the night view while taking a bath. The toiletries are the common series from Pacific Place Residences. The breakfast restaurant is on the top floor, offering set meals as well as a la carte, but the taste of the dishes is really hard to judge. My friend and I tried Western, Chinese, and Japanese set meals as well as a few a la carte items, but none were satisfactory. If the room rate at the time of booking does not include breakfast, then my advice is not to try it. TIP: The wash bag in the room can be taken away, it is of good quality and has a large capacity.
