[A scenic spot with an exotic atmosphere: Bukkosan Hosui-ji Temple⛩️✨]
#Spring0yenTrip
"Bukkou-san Hosui-ji Temple" located near Ikaho Onsen in Shibukawa City, Gunma Prefecture, is a temple built in 2018 as the head temple of Taiwanese Buddhism🏯. It is attracting attention as a unique spot where you can feel the atmosphere of Taiwan while in Japan🌏.
👀 ① A spectacular view that spreads out at the top of the 238 steps!
The symbol of Hosui-ji Temple is the 238 steps leading to the approach⛰️. With each step, you feel like your heart is being purified✨. Along the way, there are a row of cute stone statues of young monks that soothe visitors😊. And when you reach the top, you can enjoy a magnificent view from an altitude of about 700m, and you can see the mountains of Joshu, including Mount Akagi🏞️.
💡 ② Exotic architecture and cultural experience🏯
Hosui-ji Temple's buildings incorporate traditional Taiwanese architectural styles, and you can enjoy a slightly different atmosphere from Japanese temples🏯. Inside the main hall, Buddhist statues such as the Thousand-Armed Kannon and Shakyamuni Buddha are enshrined, and Taiwanese monks sometimes explain them carefully in Japanese🗣️. You can also receive a temple seal, so be sure to get one as a souvenir of your visit✨.
🍵 ③ Enjoy Taiwanese cuisine at the cafe "Tekisui-bo"🍍
After visiting the temple, take a break at the cafe "Tekisui-bo" located inside the temple grounds☕. Here you can enjoy healthy and delicious vegetarian dishes such as Taiwanese specialties pineapple cake and grass milk tea🍍🥤. From the seats by the windows, you can enjoy a meal while looking at the beautiful view, which is sure to heal your mind and body💖.
