Zhaoxing Dong Village | The ancient village recommended by National Geographic is amazing!
🚇[Transportation]
🚄High-speed rail: Congjiang Railway Station
There are not many trains to Congjiang, so make sure to book tickets in advance, check the return time, and buy tickets as early as possible!
🚍Congjiang Railway Station - Zhaoxing Dong Village (CNY 10)
After exiting the station, walk to the right. Take a minibus at the bus station and you will arrive in 15 minutes. (The bus will stop halfway to let you buy tickets for the scenic area. I bought tickets online in advance, but I still needed to pick up the tickets at the scenic area hall before entering.) Free admission for Guangdong residents.
🚌Zhaoxing Dong Village - Tang'an Rice Terraces (CNY 20/person for a round trip)
After entering the village, you can buy tickets to Tang'an Rice Terraces anywhere. You can watch the sunset or sunrise (CNY 30/person for sunrise). After buying the ticket on the road, you need to take a car at the end of the village, which is about a 10-minute walk from the boarding point.

🏠[Accommodation]
It is recommended to stay in the village, as the village is not big and you can avoid going back and forth. It is recommended to stay in a quiet place inside the village, as the main street is too noisy. I recommend Yimu Daotian, the owner is very nice and can pick you up and drop you off. It is located in the rice field, and breakfast is very atmospheric.

3️⃣Zhaoxing Dong Village is not big, and you can finish visiting it in half a day if you walk fast and don't take photos. Two days and one night is enough to get rid of the work fatigue! It is very suitable for those who want to relax and travel on weekends. Go for it!
