I am a Manchester United fan. Naturally, visiting Old Trafford was one of the top items in my bucket list. Thus, I felt so blessed that I was able to fulfil my dream. I visited Old Trafford twice. For the first trip, it was during the off season in which I went for the Musuem tour. I still remember when I was walking along the streets of Sir Matt Busby Way, I kept thinking to myself whether I was really there. For the second trip, it was for the Manchester derby against Manchester City. We drew 0-0 against them. This was so memorable experience for us as we were watching the match and the first few cases of Covid reported in Singapore. Watching the match live is totally different from watching from the TV. We bought the hospitality package from Man U website. Though it is expensive, it is worth every penny. Before the match, you got a chance to tour the whole stadium and walk through the tunnel where the football stars came out. You can also enjoy the lounge before and during match.

It's not really as rundown as some people make it out to be on the internet. This was a great place to visit. When in machester, a tour of the old Trafford came up as one of the tours. I thought why not. Our guide Peter was extremely informative and funny. Such a passionate person and clearly a Manchester untied fan. You are not merely visiting a stadium. There is history associated with it and so much pride. Plus you actually go inside the stadium and look at things. There is also that munic tunnel which covers the tragedy of 1958. The shop sells souviners, jerseys and Manchester United related memorabilia.
