Antibes: A Must-Visit Gem on the French Riviera
Antibes, a charming coastal city on the French Riviera, is nestled between Nice and Cannes, blending history, art, and natural beauty.
This is my favorite city in southern France, perhaps because the weather was perfect during my visit. The stunning sea views and rich history have attracted many artists, including the renowned Pablo Picasso, who lived here for a time. Antibes is home to the world's first museum dedicated to Picasso's works, solidifying its reputation as an artistic hub.
The old town is full of character, and the local markets are fascinating. I found delicious strawberries there and enjoyed fresh oysters at a cozy spot offering a plate and a glass of wine for just €12. Compared to Nice, the prices here are more affordable. Antibes captivates visitors with its enchanting old town, spectacular coastline, and vibrant cultural heritage.
