Nice | The azure coast kissed by angels
During this month-long trip around France, we were completely relaxed and unplanned, driving wherever we wanted, and we didn't arrive in Nice until late in the evening, but the sun was still shining brightly.
We leisurely strolled around the Bay of Angels, and this kind of relaxed and go-with-the-flow feeling was just wonderful!
You must arrive in Nice in the summer, because the sea here is really too beautiful.
🌴Main attractions in Nice:
📍Old Town of Nice
📍Port of Nice
📍Promenade des Anglais
📍Bay of Angels
📍Azure Coast (Gradient Coast)
📍Massena Square
📍Rothschild Garden Villa
The city of Nice is not very big, you can basically finish touring it in one day. If you have enough time, you can go to the nearby town of Antibes, which can be visited and returned on the same day.

Nice, in addition to the Cte d'Azur, there are these taste buds that touch you!

Nice old town market has the opportunity to go, summer can eat the freshest fruit this season, yellow apricot-like plum Must buy, Hebrin is also very juicy.

Nice, France
Nice is a beautiful and charming city located on the coast of the French Riviera in the south of France. The city is renowned for its turquoise sea, long beaches, and an atmosphere that blends tranquility and luxury. It is a popular destination for those seeking relaxation amidst nature and stunning architecture.
Nice is also known for its beautiful architecture, which combines French and Italian styles. This is especially evident in the Vieux Nice or Old Town area, which is filled with narrow alleys lined with colorful houses, restaurants, cafes, and local shops. The atmosphere of the Old Town makes you feel like you've stepped back in time.

Charming Streets and Vibrant Life: Exploring Nice’s Old Town
#europetrip
Wandering through Nice’s Old Town (Vieux Nice) feels like stepping into a colorful painting. The narrow, winding streets are lined with pastel buildings, quaint shops, and bustling cafes. Everywhere you look, there’s a mix of French and Italian influences, from the architecture to the lively atmosphere.
I loved exploring the flower market at Cours Saleya, with its vibrant colors and scents filling the air. The small artisan shops offered unique treasures, from handmade soaps to local spices. Nice’s Old Town captures the essence of the Riviera’s charm—alive with history, flavor, and warmth at every corner.

Nice.
Nice is located in southern France, with a northeast-southwest coastline and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. Like many European cities, Nice is really small, only 6 km from the airport to the city center, and you can walk to all the attractions in the city. I stayed near the train station, and it took me half an hour to walk to each attraction.
To get from the train station to Castle Hill, you have to go through the Old Town. First, you pass by the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Nice, the largest modern religious building in Nice, a rectangular colonnade church with a gorgeous exterior, a white building on the main street. The exterior is very similar to Notre-Dame de Paris, with the square twin towers being its most prominent feature. Further ahead is Place Masséna, surrounded by department stores, banks, etc. The square is home to the art installation "Conversation à Nice," with seven sculptures representing the seven continents.
The Old Town of Nice has preserved a variety of ancient buildings from the 18th century onwards, such as Baroque churches and Italian-style buildings. Walk into the maze-like Old Town and stroll through the winding, crisscrossing alleys, admiring the colorful and diverse buildings. Passing through the Cours Saleya market, you will be dazzled by the colorful fruits, candies, and flowers. Walk through the market to the foot of Castle Hill, and climb up step by step to see the entire Baie des Anges. Wow! The view of Baie des Anges from the hill is amazing, and it is named after its resemblance to angel wings. The water in the bay is of varying depths, and it is very beautiful, with round pebbles all over the beach. Walk back along Baie des Anges, and you will reach the Promenade des Anglais. It was originally built by the British and runs along Baie des Anges from Castle Hill all the way to Nice Airport. Walk in the opposite direction from Castle Hill, and you will reach Cap de Nice.

🌟 Explore Enchanting Nice: Top Spots Revealed! 🇫🇷✨
Feeling the French Riviera vibes in Nice is like stepping into a vibrant painting. Here's a sneak peek into the city's most captivating attractions!
🏰 Old Nice (Vieille Ville)
Stroll through the maze-like alleys of Old Nice, where the pastel-hued buildings whisper tales from the 18th century. Baroque churches and Italian-style edifices line the streets, inviting you to treasure hunt in quaint shops. Don't miss the bustling Cours Saleya market, a sensory overload with its vivid fruits, sweets, and flowers. And when it's time to rest, grab a seat at an open-air café to savor the local flavors. Old Nice is a true gem, offering a slice of French culture with every step. 🍦🛍️
🌊 Promenade Des Anglais
Built by English expats in 1830, this 5km promenade is a postcard-perfect spot. Flanked by art galleries, shops, and luxury hotels, it offers breathtaking views of the azure sea. Whether you're cruising on a skateboard or cycling, the Promenade is alive with the spirit of the Mediterranean. Come evening, the bars come to life, making it a hotspot for nightlife lovers. Just make sure to enjoy a sunset lounge on the beach for the ultimate relaxation. 🌅🚴
🌴 Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels)
Named for its angelic shape, Baie des Anges is a pebbly paradise where you can lounge luxuriously under the sun. The soothing sound of waves caressing the stones is the perfect soundtrack for a summer day. For the best view, climb up to the castle and gaze down upon this majestic bay. The gradient blue waters against the white foamy waves are nothing short of perfection. 🏖️👼
🏞️ Castle Hill (Colline du Château)
Take a leisurely half-hour walk up Castle Hill and be rewarded with panoramic views that'll take your breath away. Although the castle itself is long gone, the remnants of an ancient church and fortress add to the allure. It's an ideal spot for family picnics, and the vista of Old Nice and the port is a photographer's dream. Don't leave without capturing the elegance of the Bay of Angels from this vantage point. 📸🍃
Nice has cast its spell on me, and I'm sure it will on you too. From the historical charm of Old Nice to the stunning coastline of the Promenade and the Bay of Angels, each corner tells a story. And as the sun sets on Castle Hill, the city's beauty is etched in memory.

Winter dusk, the azure illusion of Nice and Cannes
In winter Cannes, the sky gradually shows melancholy, the cold wind gently blows, and the sunset quietly sets. The azure sea under the sunset glows with a faint golden light, as if it is a peaceful and dreamy scroll between heaven and earth. The old town of Nice, the winter sun shines through the mottled stone lanes, casting oblique shadows, filled with the vicissitudes of time. And the film palace of Cannes, in the winter air, appears particularly peaceful, the sunset glow reddens every corner of the city, as if telling a long story. In this quiet winter dusk, I am immersed in the emotional ripples intertwined by the sea and the sunset.

South France, what you should know about Nice.
South France, what you should know about Nice.
The azure coast of Nice is very beautiful, with particularly blue seawater, but the beaches here are not for swimming, and the sand is not fine sand, but rather small stones. So if you want a soft and comfortable beach for sunbathing, Nice is not the best option.
Nice has very convenient transportation. If you want to visit the south of France, you can actually stay in Nice because it is located between Cannes and Monaco. You can stay in Nice and then go to Cannes and Monaco to play, which is very convenient and saves you from dragging your luggage around! It only takes about 30 minutes by train from Nice to Cannes, Monaco, Menton and other places.
Cars, priced from €4 to €10, are very cheap! The geographical location is also different from that in China. The train stations here are usually located in the city center, so trains are much more convenient than planes. Moreover, these small trains between European cities, although called "Trains", are actually like subways in China, and the seats are very comfortable. Accommodation is also available.
Nice is divided into the old town and the new town. For accommodation, if you want to open the door and see the turquoise sea view (and the bustling crowd of tourists), you can choose a hotel located in the old town by the sea, but the price will be very expensive. However, I personally prefer to stay in the new town because the train station is in the city center of the new town, and I don't want to open the window and see tourists. Besides, the sea in Nice is the kind that cannot be swam, so there is no need to stay close to the beach. It is recommended to stay near the train station so that you can catch an early train to other cities later. The old town of Nice is just average, similar to those in Spain and Italy. Many small towns are similar and belong to the average level.

Quick look ❗ Europe tour | Nice - Eze Village - Monaco
One day itinerary 🏃
From Nice, take bus route 82 and prepare cash in advance.
It takes about twenty minutes to reach the P1-3 Ez Small Town Mountain Top Botanical Garden.
Take bus 83 downhill after visiting.
Then take a 20-minute train ride and arrive at P4~9 Monaco 🇲🇨.
Monaco deserves to be the second smallest country, you can almost tour it in three hours.
Finally, after half an hour on the train, we returned to Nice.
Nice cuisine strongly recommends The Rossettisserie.
This shop was discovered by my friend accidentally in the old town area.
The store is not big, mostly French people.
The menu also has English, so don't worry about not understanding it.
📕No one recommended this restaurant, but it's really delicious!
Main dishes have many meat options. Be sure to order Tiramisu for dessert!!

Look❗️Nanfa is bright yellow 💛 and gentle blue 🔹
During the short break between two semesters, I spent three days in southern France.
After two years in France, I finally visited the south! Hahaha!
—
The temperament of southern cities is really different from Paris.
The holiday outfit of passersby entering spring is as bright as the colors of Nice,
There are a lot less people smoking on the streets and in coffee shops, hahaha.
By the seaside, abundant sunshine, colorful houses, and seafood! All the elements that bring happiness are gathered here!
The locals on this island feel like they've returned to their happy hometown!

The morning market in the old town of Nice ~ The fruit of the pepper, have you ever eaten, who can tell me the taste, regret not buying two to taste.
France, Nice

Sunshine, beach, colorful street houses, this is why I fell in love with Nice!
TobeJIN.
The old city is the heart of Nice, orange and colored walls and windows, let you feel the time back to the labyrinth of the streets, even if you are lost, it is very enjoyable, this is what I imagine the European city.
France, Nice
TobeJIN.
Walking in the narrow streets of the old town of Nice, the sun before sunset makes the street full of colorful Mediterranean style. I have always deviated from the streets full of tourists. The naughty children are playing on the steps, and occasionally a dialogue is heard from a certain window. Fortunately, most of the old town built on the mountain is still the daily life of the local residents.
France, Nice

Nice is the capital of the French Alpes-Maritimes (06 provinces) of the French province of Rgion Provence-Alpes-Cte-d'Azur (Provence or PACA). There are two prefecture-level administrative units (one provincial capital and one secondary provincial capital) in the province. Nice is a municipality in the Alpes-Maritimes and the provincial capital of the province, and the administrative centre of the Arrondissement de Nice (Chef-lieu). According to the latest French administrative division plan in 2015, the Nice region consists of 12 complete counties (Canton) and some of the other 2 districts and counties, with a total of 101 towns with a total area of 3,067 km2 and a total population of 522,291. People (2012 data) It is worth noting that in France, the division of regions and counties is mainly for voting or elections, and there is not much practical effect, and the daily municipal construction and management is mainly District, "province" or "town" coordination is responsible.

The Old Town of Nice refers to the area between the American boulevard and the Museum of Modern Art. It was originally formed after the city was built in Nice, centered on churches and squares. Originally built by the Greeks, the city of Nice was once a colony of the Roman Empire and was separated from Italian rule in 1860. Therefore, there are many baroque churches and houses in the old town of Nice. It is full of Italian style and atmosphere, warm and warm, and I hope to live in such a place and feel the life of a foreign country.
Desperado.
Nice in the south of France, the old town centre is also a place with historical traces. It used to be a colony of the Roman Empire, so there are many Italian-style buildings in the city with brightly colored exterior walls.
The modern light rail train in the old town, the favorite Galeries Lafayette department store, and many small shops with design features, restaurants, bars, and the classical architecture here, with a unique personality of Nice . The old city is not big, the road is clean and quiet than Paris, and it is good to walk around.
Sophia..
I once wrote in an article that "Greece is the place where God's overturned blue paint bottle falls." Then France's Nice is the painting that God is painting. I made my own destination in Provence three years ago. The station is Nice, but I didn't expect it to be here three years later. I am still ecstatic. Nice, this must be placed in the city of your travel itinerary, as beautiful as the name of her airport: Nice Cte d'Azur Airport.
