1. Kouri Ocean Tower
Address - 538 Kouri, Nakijin, Kunigami District, Okinawa 905-0406
Highlights - “Observation tower overlooking the sea.” Pictures do not give Kouri island justice. Tower is beautiful by itself but I think the ocean is the prettiest. Standing by the tower and seeing the bright blue of the ocean is a sight to see.
Rating - 4.2
2. Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium
Address - 424 Ishikawa, Motobu, Kunigami District, Okinawa 905-0206
Highlights - The aquarium is actually located inside a large park area with other great attractions. The aquarium was once considered one of the biggest aquariums in the world. If you ever visit, you will notice that the place holds a variety of different marine animals and species. It can be very picturesque as well!

Okinawa-forest tunnel to the sea
Really, Motobu Town in the north of Okinawa not only has the famous Ocean Expo Park, but also a very niche attraction called Fukumulin Road. This is a hidden village surrounded by Fukumulin, with a total of 20,000+ Shurong
For more than 300 years, Fukugi was planted by the Okinawa people who lived there for the sake of moisture and wind, and over time, it formed a pleasant forest rain road. When the weather is good, stroll through it.
The sun flickers among the dense foliage, the old tree roots are intertwined, as if entering the fairy tale world of the Wizard of Oz. There are two main roads in the entire area, as well as many dense trails leading to the seaside.
The end of the lush forest tunnel is the blue sea, so the quiet picture makes people look forward to it. Many Okinawa locals will come here to take pictures of wedding dresses!
Get the other side of the blue sky and sea of Okinawa. You can also rent a bicycle at the entrance, or experience the special buffalo cart, and have fun.

Enjoy a relaxing 6-day, 5-night trip to Okinawa
Okinawa consists of the main island and many outlying islands. On the main island, other than a single monorail line, transportation mainly relies on buses🚌 or taxis🚕. However, taxis are relatively expensive (starting fare is 550 yen for the first 1750 meters, then 70 yen for every subsequent 372 meters, and when traveling at speeds lower than 10km/h, an additional 70 yen is charged every 2 minutes and 15 seconds). For buses, some routes have long intervals between services, so it's recommended to confirm arrival times in advance (plan your trip with Google Maps). Therefore, it's personally recommended to join a tour group when visiting attractions in the southern or northern parts of the island.
D1: Arrive in Okinawa
It's suggested to choose accommodations near a monorail station.
D2: Day trip to the South
Cape Chinen (where you can see the colorful waters of the Pacific Ocean), Okinawa World (which includes Gyokusendo Cave, well worth a visit), and Senaga Island (where you can watch planes✈️ take off and land up close).
Since attractions are relatively scattered, it's advised to join a tour group.
D3: Day trip to the outlying islands
You can choose between the Kerama Islands or Tokashiki Island. On the outlying islands, you can arrange your day with various activities, stroll on the beach, or walk through country lanes.
D4: Day trip to the North
Recommended attractions: Manzamo, Ocean Expo Park (which is really large, with Emerald Beach, the beautiful Churaumi Aquarium, and dolphin shows), and Kouri Island.
It's suggested to join a day tour as attractions are quite spread out. Chartering a car is much more expensive compared to joining a tour, but it allows for a more flexible schedule.
D5: Whale watching at sea
The best time is from January to February. Join a local tour, with options for morning or afternoon sessions. It's personally recommended to choose the morning session. This way, you can return to the hotel at noon and spend the afternoon visiting places like Shuri Castle and Naminoue Beach.
D6: Return trip home
The above is based on personal travel experience and is for reference only. Itineraries can be arranged according to personal preferences.
If you have any questions, feel free to leave a message. Thank you☺️

Ocean Expo Park located at Okinawa, Japan is a very spacious park with several major attractions, including Tropical Dream Center, which has many tropical trees and flowers, and Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. Apart from the most visited aquarium, there are other facilities around the park. My favorite actually goes to the Sea Culture Museum with an impressive collection of canoes and ships, as well as anthropological exhibits of the Pacific Islands. Very impressive aquarium! Well maintained and the big shark tank is impressive! Dolphin show is nice too!

The beautiful sea aquarium is one of the important destinations for my trip. In order to stay in the aquarium for an extra hour, I can arrange time to watch various performances. I did not book a day trip, but I took a fast bus from Naha. The aquarium really didn't disappoint me. The two phones didn't get electricity. Although the temperature in Okinawa was humid and humid in September, it was good to be air-conditioned indoors and to have fun.
The ocean around Okinawa is a habitat that is formed by the three elements of the huge warm current "black tide", coral reefs, and the deep sea in the east and west of the South West Islands. It is a mysterious sea world with rare world rare earth populations. The beautiful sea aquarium condenses the Okinawa waters by means of waves, Kuroshio and deep sea tours, giving visitors a comprehensive Okinawa sea.
Entering from the entrance, the first part is the touch pool, which is close to the creatures in the coral reef pool.
Looking and watching, turning a corner, the huge "sea of the Kuroshio" appeared in front of me. I have seen countless photos of the Kuroshio Sea before, but only at the scene can I feel the shock and excitement of the scene. In the 7,500 cubic meters of sea water, three giant whale sharks over 14 meters swim around your head, from time to time to meet you or pass by.
Walking down the spiral staircase, close to the glass of the 10-meter high sink, in front of the huge sea screen, people are so small. Look closely at the depths of the blue, up to five or six meters, only one thin tail has more than 1 meter long ghost manta, black "ghost face" drifting, it is easy to be scared.
