This cafe as i recommended before is famous for is Einspänner which looks like ice cream is actually coffee top with a smooth cream combination. I have the chance to visit another outlet of Oats here in Yeonamdong. Must say is quite a walk from Hongdae- Better to take the bus from Hondae to save the long walk 😂😅 They have a greater selections of pastry here or perhaps it looks more appealing with more items available. The coffee station space is spacious likewise the whole cafe which occupies 2 stories above. 2nd & 3rd Floor has many tables available . There are also rooftop seatings that are outdoor! Mistake that many first timer make when drinking einspanner ** Do not stir it at first**; simply drink it straight w the cream. Since Oats Coffee's cream isn't particularly thick, it blends in nicely with the coffee. I love the flavor. It is sooo sooo good! It’s rare to go to Seoul, so why not try Oats Coffee, one of the three giants of coffee in Vienna. There are two branches in Yongsan and Yeonnam-dong. This time I went to Yeonnam-dong because it is relatively close to Hongdae. Most of the desserts are scone, and there are not many choices, so this time I chose Madeleine and the protagonist Vienna coffee. I have to say that the milk foam on top of the coffee is sweeter than expected, but it neutralizes the bitterness of the coffee below, which is just right. This is my go to cafe in seoul for a cup of Einspanner ! I am a tea lover and seldom into coffee.. but this place got me hooked onto their einspanner! There are two outlets of oats coffee one in Yeonamdong (Hongdae) and one in Yongsan! I had went to the one located in Yongsan. Hidden in a small lane near the police station. Einspanner (6,000 Won), a cream-topped coffee, which is often lauded as one of the best in Seoul. I first started eating (or sipping it with the coffee) its dense, sweet cream atop – it was thick, creamy, and indulgently-smooth. Oh yah, don’t mix the drink! You can sip it with the coffee like how you drink tea with cheese iykwim 😅 . It was so good so good…This contrast between the sweet cream and the robust coffee offers a well-balanced taste experience. Oats Coffee also offers a range of other beverages like Cold Brew Vanilla (5,000 Won), Caramel Latte (5,000 Won), Matcha Latte (5,000 Won), Mango Latte (5,000 Won) and Oats Chocolate (5,000 Won). I have not try the other latte but I had the Mocha which is so good as well with bites and pieces of the chocolate inside it! Other than coffee, there are also some signature scones and financiers!
