[2025 Haymarket Stay] Travel Guide for Novotel Sydney Darling Square (Updated Jan)

✨The summer in Guangdong is scorching hot, so I came to Sydney to escape the heat~ ▫️Booked the Novotel Sydney Darling Square the day before arrival, first time trying this brand, very satisfied, stayed for 4 nights straight~ ▫️I absolutely love the location😍, near Darling Square, very close to Chinatown, quiet amidst the hustle and bustle, with a small lawn square in front of the hotel, giving a serene and refreshing feel. ▫️The lobby is not spacious, but very elegantly decorated, with warm lighting💡 that is very invigorating. The front desk service is very patient and nice; the lobby sofas are soft and comfortable, perfect for sitting with a beer and relaxing. The lobby also offers free popcorn snacks‼️ We stayed in a superior king room, which was quite spacious and well-equipped; the best part was the bedding, white and new, softer than domestic ones, very comfortable. The duvet had a clean and fresh scent👍👍. Remember to open the mini-fridge, there is a goodnight milk🥛 every day, delicious! Our room type did not come with slippers🩴🩴, but you can call the front desk to get them for free. 📌Tips for staying: ▪️Foreign hotels do not provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, so bring your own. ▪️The air conditioner in the room is a bit loud, you can adjust it to reduce the noise. ▪️The hotel offers breakfast, but the variety is limited and not very cost-effective; most restaurants outside open at ten in the morning, but a few start at seven. ▪️The gym and pool are at the end of F2, not very big, accessible with a room card. ▪️If staying for multiple nights, you can choose daily cleaning service (press the make-up button next to the door). ▫️Nearby attractions: 1️⃣Fish market: said to have good value for seafood. 2️⃣Chinatown: lots of delicious Chinese food. 3️⃣University of Sydney: visit the purely European-style brown buildings and experience the campus atmosphere abroad. 4️⃣Friendship Garden: China-Australia Friendship Garden, right behind the hotel, a Chinese-style garden park, perfect for a break. 5️⃣Nearby you can take L1, L2, L3 trams.

#cherryblossom2024 Situated near to Darling Habour and sydney's bustling city is this great hotel with one of the best locations. This hotel that I stayed at is called Novotel Sydney Darling Square and it is centralized to most attractions in Sydney. Booked their Deluxe King room and it was clean, spacious and bright. I certainly had a comfortable stay here and their toilet comes equipped with a nice rain shower. Design was pleasant and modern and what stood out was their fantastic service by the hotel staff. This place made me feel like it's home. If you're ever in Sydney, this is one hotel to stay at.
