On this visit, I stayed at Novotel Citygate Hong Kong, which is directly connected to Tung Chung Station, for 3 nights and 4 days. There is a shuttle bus from Hong Kong International Airport to the hotel, and it is very convenient to get to Lantau Island and the airport because it is directly connected to Tung Chung Station. This was my second time staying at the hotel, and they welcomed me very comfortably with a "welcome again" message. I received an online check-in email the day before and completed the procedure there first, so it was very smooth. When I checked in, they asked me if I wanted a room far from the elevator or close to it, and I chose a room far from it, so I was able to spend the night peacefully without being bothered by noise. The room is a little old, but it is well-housed and there is no smell unique to overseas countries, so it is comfortable to stay in. In Hong Kong, many hotels charge for amenities due to national policy, but this hotel still has wooden amenities (toothbrush, comb, cotton, cotton swabs, tongue depressor, slippers). Free water was provided in a brick pack. The amount of water provided increased each night, and on the first night there were three bottles, but when I returned to my room on the third day there were five bottles. I was grateful because I am reluctant to drink tap water. There is no charging space by the pillow, so an extension cord would be very convenient. Novotel Hong Kong Citygate is located on Lantau Island and offers a shuttle bus service between the hotel, the airport, and the Tung Chung MTR station. It is connected to Citygate outlets, which have plenty of shops and restaurants. There is also a nearby park where you can go for a morning exercise. We stayed with the cultural getaway package, which included breakfast and Ngong Ping cable car tickets for two. We got a premier room with twin beds on the same floor as the club lounge. The room was standard-sized and had all the amenities you would expect from Novotel. The highlight of this hotel is the club lounge, which has a beer dispenser available all day, not just during the evening cocktail hours like other hotels we've stayed at.

I have stayed in two MGallery hotels before, so I changed to Novotel Citygate this time. The hotel is located in Tung Chung, only one subway stop away from Hong Kong Airport. It is home to four international chain stores, as well as Hong Kong's famous tourist attraction Lantau Island and the huge outlet mall Citygate. It is very suitable for rest and stay during transit, with a one-stop service for eating, drinking and having fun, and everything is arranged clearly. It has been in operation for more than ten years. Its decoration style is simple and unpretentious, but it excels in providing classical full-service. Whether it is accommodation, dining, or swimming pool and fitness, everything is well presented. The treatment for platinum members is also generous.
