The Notre Dame Cathedral, a stunning example of French colonial architecture, offers a glimpse into Vietnam's French colonial past, and its serene interior provides a peaceful contrast to the bustling city outside. The Central Post Office, designed by the renowned architect Gustave Eiffel, is a marvel of Gothic and Renaissance styles that was built in the 1880’s. Take the time to appreciate it’s beautiful interior and perhaps send a postcard from this still functioning post office. The Cu Chi Tunnels, a mere hour’s drive from Ho Chi Minh City, provide an immersive experience into Vietnam's wartime history. The recommended sightseen time is half an hour or maximum one hour. It is more comfortable to visit this place in the morning or late afternoon as the weather is quite hot.
