Norsk Folkemuseum 🇳🇴
#summerdestinations
During my summer vacation in Oslo, I had a delightful visit to the Norsk Folkemuseum, a fantastic open-air museum that offers a deep dive into Norwegian culture and history. 🏛️🌳 Located on Bygdøy Peninsula, the museum's entrance fee is about 180 NOK (around $18), which includes access to over 150 historical buildings and exhibits.
What really stood out was the traditional Norwegian architecture, including the stunning stave church from the 1200s. The museum also features live demonstrations and traditional crafts that give a vibrant picture of Norwegian life from past centuries. 🇳🇴🏠 Nearby, you can explore the Viking Ship Museum or enjoy a scenic walk along the Bygdøy coastline. This museum is a must-visit for anyone interested in Norwegian heritage and history!
