Nokonoshima Island Park
Nokonoshima Island is about 10 minutes by ferry from Noko Ferry Terminal in Meinohama, Fukuoka City, with a circumference of about 12km. Seasonal flowers and the sea, etc. are beautiful, and you can see many beautiful scenery on the island. In addition, there are many places where you can feel the history such as Sota Kofun Ancient Tomb Complex built around the 7th century, Shishigaki Edo Era deer hunting grounds, etc.
Nokonoshima Island Park, which opened in Showa 44 (1969), is a famous flower spot in Fukuoka. Rapeseed flowers bloom in spring, sunflowers in summer, cosmos in autumn, daffodils in winter, etc., so you can enjoy the changing flowers of the four seasons. There are also old-fashioned cottages around this flower garden that overlook Hakata Bay, allowing you to stay in the vast nature. In addition, there are facilities that can be used to enjoy nature such as Noko-Noko Ball, which is similar to golf, swings, physical training, etc.
