Tokyo residents' private cherry blossom viewing ceiling 🌸, not inferior to Izu at all!
The popular Kawazu Sakura spot in the suburbs of Tokyo is located in Nishihirahata Park halfway up Mt. Matsuda in Kanagawa Prefecture. I highly recommend you to come and enjoy the flowers~
Recently, due to the cold front, the Kawazu Sakura here is still 4~6 points. It is expected that you will be in full bloom when you check in at the beginning of next month.
February 8th to March 9th is the Matsuda Cherry Blossom Festival. In previous years, the mountains were full of Kawazu cherry blossoms, interweaving with the golden rapeseed flowers, forming a bright spring picture🔆. When the sky is cloudless, you can see Mount Fuji and cherry blossoms in the same frame, so many photographer friends will make a special trip to check in.
There is an observation deck in the park, and the town and Sagami Bay are not far away. There is a slide next to the observation deck, which is a great place to take pictures. There is also a small train running under the cherry trees, don't miss it if you have the chance~
