Niccolo Chengdu’s steakhouse launches new offerings, a journey of delicious flavours
Spring is in full swing and the earth is reviving. Niccolo Chengdu’s steakhouse, Steak Frites, has renewed its French cuisine, offering guests a delicious journey that will last a lifetime. Executive Chef Cai Daobin and his team have ingeniously designed 8 new dishes inspired by the rhythm of spring, combining fresh and high-end ingredients to set the stage for the vitality of spring. In the design of the dishes, Chef Cai has fully displayed the rhythm of spring from color matching to taste buds, while also providing guests with a fun taste experience in multiple occasions in the steakhouse.
The steak house STEAK FRITES is located in the lounge on the third floor of Niccolo Chengdu. Its design is inspired by the classic French bistro L'Entrecôte, bringing a not-to-be-missed French flavor to Chengdu. The museum also displays eleven artworks by illustrator Icy Tan, all from her "People Watching" series. She painted a fantasy world with smart lines and bright colors. Her imaginative paintings outline vivid characters and meticulously observe the states of various characters in different situations, revealing her freedom and yearning for a better life. Art is life, life is art. This is also the alternative interpretation of gourmet experience and good life by steakhouse STEAK FRITES.
New products for spring include Alaskan king crab served with seafood jelly, caviar and cauliflower puree. The taste is sweet and fresh without being greasy. The melt-in-your-mouth texture is just like enjoying the warm sea breeze on a holiday afternoon at the beach in early spring. The caviar and bluefin tuna tartare paired with homemade crispy potato chips is very innovative. Take a bite of the caviar and tartare with potato chips, and the crispy and fragrant flavor will bloom on your taste buds.
The combination of basil leaf smoothie and vanilla black olive puree has just the right taste. It tastes like a breeze under the dappled sunlight, delicate and refreshing. The highlight is the Merguez sausage lamb chops with Jerusalem artichokes, roasted eggplant sauce and original gravy, which are full of flavor, like an artist in the spice world dancing on the plate. The prototype dish of the special sea dragon king soup with fresh fish and lemon is the Marseille fish soup. It has a rich taste and the soup has a well-organized rise and fall. The taste of seafood is locked in the soup, which is fresh and rich.
