Mỹ Sơn Museum is a small treasure trove where you can feel the breath of the Cham civilization. The moment you enter, you will be immersed in the ancient art and culture. The delicate stone statues displayed along the walls make you feel like you are traveling through time, and the sculpture of Shiva in particular is impressive in its grandeur and detail.
The artifacts that sparkle under the lights each have different stories, so it is fun to find historical traces in them. The information panels are also well organized, deepening your understanding of the unique culture and architectural style of the Cham Kingdom.
This small but charming museum is a must-visit before exploring the MySong relics! The experience of immersing yourself in history while looking at the sculptures with ancient smiles was truly special. I highly recommend it to those who want to make unforgettable moments in their Da Nang trip!

My Son Relics Museum...Da Nang

MỹSơnMuseum is a small museum located near the MySơn relics in Da Nang, but it is a place that shows the history and cultural significance of the Cham civilization well. Inside the museum, various relics and sculptures excavated from the relics of the Cham kingdom are exhibited, allowing you to feel the unique artistic characteristics of the Cham period.
In particular, the sculptures of Hindu gods Shiva, Linga, and Nandi clearly show that the Cham culture was influenced by Indian culture. The relics on display help you understand the historical background of each relic, and it was very informative to learn about the culture here before visiting the relics. Although the museum is small, it is an important place where you can feel the charm of the Cham civilization, and I would like to recommend it to anyone visiting Da Nang.

Crazy hot but crazy beautiful Da Nang My Son Sanctuary 🪨⛰️
Hello! Our wedding anniversary is coming up soon 💍 I'm going to introduce you to the Hoi An tourist destination in Vietnam that we visited for our honeymoon last year. In fact, it's said that it's difficult to get to the Hoi An tourist destination by taxi or Grab. We used a hotel-linked tour van!
[My Son Ruins] is a ruin near Hoi An. The weather was really nice when we visited! The sky was blue, the trees were green, and the ruins were beautiful.
It didn't take long to look around the ruins by referring to the map guides that you can see here and there. It was used as an old kingdom, but it was partially restored after being destroyed during the Vietnam War. There were a lot of ruins made of red bricks. I was surprised to see so many huge buildings! But it's very hot! Be prepared... 💧But it's pretty.. 🤣
⏰ Operating hours: Every day from 06:00 to 17:00
⌛️ Tour duration: About 1 hour
💸 Entrance fee: About 8,000 won
📍Address: Thánh địa Mỹ Sơn, Duy Xuyên, Quảng Nam
🚘 How to get there: It takes about 1 hour by car (one way) from Hoi An. It's far and there are no tourist attractions or restaurants around, so it's hard to get there even by Grab. I recommend using the hotel's paid tour van 🙆♀️
✔️ Since it's outdoors without shade, sunscreen and water are essential. Since the sun is hot, thin long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and umbrellas are also helpful ⛱️
It's not open at 6 a.m. for nothing! It's very, very hot ☀️ I recommend visiting early in the morning, before the sun rises ❗️
🤍 Overall: It's very hot, very hot, but the weather was nice, so the sightseeing and nature were so pretty. I wouldn't visit it multiple times, but I recommend it to those who like sightseeing/history tours!
