The stairs were really high, so I was a little daunted at first, but I slowly climbed up step by step! The Big Buddha looked bigger and grander up close! And I could see Ngong Ping Village at a glance from above.

Our journey back led us to Ngong Ping Village, a charming tourist destination perched above Lantau Island, reachable by bus or the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car. Serving as a convenient starting or ending point for trips to Tian Tan Buddha, Po Lin Monastery, and Tai O Village, the village offers a delightful array of attractions. As we strolled through the village, we were admire the picturesque surroundings and captivating sights.
