Spring, green Ngong Ping prairie travel guide 💚
At the end of spring and the beginning of summer (April-May), a large green grassland will appear on the Ngong Ping Grassland in Sai Kung. The Ngong Ping Grassland is 400 meters above sea level. Standing on the grassland, you can overlook the entire Sai Kung Sea, Shelter Bay, Sai Kung Sea and Pak Sha Bay on the right.
The area is not too big, you can see everything at a glance; it is not too small, you can run until you are tired.
I like to lie quietly on the grass, looking up at the ever-changing clouds, and chatting about the trivialities of life. Nature has this kind of power that allows people to naturally unload all their burdens.
When you get tired of lying down, you can run on the grass. When you get tired of running, you can sit on the grass and look at the sea view. You will be so happy that you will forget what year it is.
At this time when the grassland is at its most prosperous, the cattle also come out to join in the fun.
I really like that Hong Kong is a place where animals and humans live in peace.❤️
path:
1: Start from Ma On Shan, stop at the Heng On Estate or Yiu On Estate bus stop, and walk along the Liang You Road next to the roundabout of Ma On Shan Road to the trail entrance next to the Ma On Shan Barbecue Site - Ngong Ping Grassland - Tai Shui Tseng - Sai Kung
2: Take NR84 from Suncity Bus Terminal to Ma On Shan Country Park Station, walk along the road to the entrance of the picnic trail next to the Ma On Shan barbecue site - Ngong Ping Grassland - Tai Shui Tseng - Sai Kung
3: Start from Sai Kung (across the road from Sai Kung Market) and take the green minibus No. 3 to get off at the roundabout at "Beigangao", and start walking along the uphill road (there will be a toilet after going uphill, you can solve it first🙈) - Ngong Ping Grassland - Ma On Shan Village, take the village bus.
(Sometimes you have to wait a long time for the village bus to come. If you want to walk to the city center, you have to walk along the road all the way, which is so far 😮💨) I tried walking all the way to Kam Ying Court once, and my legs were numb 😂. Of course, you can also call a taxi.😇)
4: Shuilangwo - Bent Mountain - Dajinzhong (you can take four routes without passing Dajinzhong, which are easier to walk) - Ngong Prairie - Dashuijing - Saigon
(This route is relatively long and requires a lot of energy, so you need to do it according to your ability)
🌟🌟🌟
The buses that pass Shui Lang Wo Station are 99 and 299X. Remember to walk towards Sai Kung after getting off the bus, and then walk towards Kei Ling Ha Lo Wai BBQ Site and go up along Section 4 of the MacLehose Trail. This is not the direction near Shui Lang Wo public toilet.)
