Yingge Ceramic Museum

Address: No. 200, Wenhua Rd, Yingge District, New Taipei City, Taiwan 239218.
Highlights: The New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum is an amazing place to showcase Taiwan ceramic artists and to educate the public as well as the students in studio art. The samples of different firing methods and various surface decoration techniques are very impressive.
The lower floors hold mainly exhibits about the history of indigenous and Chinese ceramics. The fourth floor shows the special exhibits. All this for the price of TWD$80. The English translations of the exhibit explanations were also very well done.
I want to travel to Hong Kong to experience a glimpse into Hong Kong's cultural diversity.

Fantastic place to learn about ceremics
Braved the harsh sun and my aching feet to get to the museum. Pleasantly surprised to see so many interesting pieces of art and understand the process of making pottery + the different kinds of kiln and types of ceramic. #museum #taipei

Oriole Song Ceramic Museum - a unique ceramic museum.
If you are interested in ceramic production, you can visit the Ceramic Museum, the first museum in Taiwan dedicated to introducing ceramics. The museum mainly showcases Taiwan's 200-year-old kiln culture, and the ceramic studio has complete teaching equipment. There are four pottery-making courses every day from Tuesday to Sunday, and different themes will be introduced every season or month.
The Yingge Ceramics Museum is located on the bustling Culture Road, with a clear water model opening at the entrance, symbolically isolating the outside noise and hinting at the quiet atmosphere inside the museum. This is the first museum in Taiwan with ceramics as its main theme, mainly because Yingge is known as the "Jingdezhen of Taiwan" due to its main industry being ceramics.
The Ceramic Museum has three floors above ground and two floors underground. It is a modern building constructed with reinforced concrete and introduces Taiwan's 200-year-old kiln culture. Behind the park, there is a ceramic park that is perfect for families to take a walk and play together. In addition, there is a "Life is Beautiful" creative art store in the park, which is a cultural merchandise concept store operated by the Ceramic Museum. The products in the store are unique and cannot be found elsewhere!
