📝 Personal experience
Nanfang'ao Observation Deck, formerly known as "Zhao'an Observation Deck", is located at an altitude of about 140 meters and provides an excellent view. Standing on the viewing platform, you can overlook Nanfang'ao, Beifang'ao fishing ports, Neipi Beach, Doufu Cape, and Guishan Island in the distance.
There is free parking at the observation deck, and it takes about 1 minute to walk from the parking lot to the platform. The platform is open-air and has no shelter, so it is recommended to bring sunshades.
Whether it is the sunrise in the early morning, the blue sky and white clouds at noon, or the sunset in the evening, the Nanfang'ao Observation Deck is a great place to enjoy the sea view. In addition, at night, the port is lit up with lights, which adds a unique flavor.

Watch the sea and listen to the waves
The second day of 2 days and 1 night in Yilan🍀
After checking out, drive to Nanfang'ao Fishing Market to buy fresh fish.
Go to a nearby restaurant to cook for customers. Affordable prices and fresh fish.
After eating, we drove to Neipi Beach. The weather was very good that day.
Not many people came, so the photos taken were all beautiful.
There are many flat stones on the beach that are very special.
Sitting on the beach, watching the sea and listening to the waves is very therapeutic.

Neipi Bay Scenic Area
This is a beach with a large crowd, beautiful scenery, and a pleasant view. Facing the ocean, it offers a relaxing and immersive experience. On regular evenings, there are already quite a few visitors, and during holidays, it gets very crowded, making parking spaces hard to find. The influx of people attracted by the beach's beauty has led to the establishment of many dining spots. Activities like stacking stones on the beach, running, and sitting idly are great ways to enjoy your visit, making you feel refreshed and highly recommended. However, be sure to stay safe, as the sea, though beautiful, can be unforgiving.
