#gw2022jp I visited Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine in honor of the 13 Lords of Kamakura. I took the cable car from Iwashimizu Hachimangu Station, and walked down from Omotesando on the way back. At the foot of the mountain, there is a pine tree that is said to have been planted by Minamoto no Yoritomo. Admission is free, and it has a slightly desolate feel, so feel free to throw in some coins. This is a World Heritage Site that has been standing for 1,000 years.

Bamboo and stone lanterns invite visitors. Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine is located on top of Mt. Otokoyama in Yawata City and has a beautiful vermilion-painted shrine building (national treasure). I took the 8:10 Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine Approach Cable Car to visit Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine. The seats at the very front and very back were heated and warm. It takes about 30 minutes to walk there. After getting off the cable car, there is a short walk to the main shrine, but the air is clear and it feels good. Since it was early in the morning, there were hardly any visitors and I was able to worship in a solemn atmosphere. The shrine building, which is also designated as a national treasure, is very beautiful. The Minami-somon Gate opens at 6:00, but the gift shop and prayers open at 9:00. There is also an observation deck where you can get a panoramic view of Kyoto's cityscape, which was amazing! #DomesticTravelStrategy

I went strawberry picking🍓 at Osazen Farm in Yawata City, Kyoto!! I made a reservation the day before in mid-February, but on the day, it was fully booked! I recommend making a reservation early! It was the last reservation time, so I was worried that there would be any strawberries left, but there were four large greenhouses available that day, and they seemed to be rotating them well with the other greenhouses! No matter the time, there were lots of bright red, sweet strawberries🍓! They greeted me loudly and the service was really pleasant. The most popular tsukemen has a rich fish powder aroma and flavor, and the meat has a yuzu aroma, making it an addictive taste that never gets old. The light soy sauce ramen with seasoned egg was super light, and I had half and half of it with the tsukemen, which was just right! It's a ramen that I want to eat again and again, and my Korean boyfriend really liked it. Flying Shrine⛩️ 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 A shrine founded by Ninomiya Chuhachi in 1915 (Taisho 4)⛩️ Ninomiya Chuhachi was the first in Japan to successfully carry out a powered model flight experiment, but after learning about the achievements of the Wright Brothers, he left airplane✈️ development. Afterwards, Chuhachi, who was saddened by the high number of aviation accidents, used his own money to build this shrine to console the souls of those who died in aviation accidents. The grounds include a jet engine and a Zero fighter propeller. At the back, there is also the Flying Shrine Museum. There is also a building that looks like an ancient temple, so it doesn't have the feel of a shrine. The main hall consists of three altars. The first hall (center) is dedicated to Nigihayahi-no-Mikoto, the god of the sky. The second hall (right side) is dedicated to the spirits of the aviation victims and pioneers of the aviation industry. It is said to have been built in 861 by Gyokyo (a Sanron sect monk in the early Heian period)! The shrine building was destroyed in the Battle of Toba-Fushimi in 1868. It was rebuilt in 1882. Takara Shrine is also known for appearing in Tsurezuregusa, written by Kenko Hoshi in 1331. It has a quiet and tranquil appearance. You can get a goshuin at Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine, so why not visit it as well?
