Restaurant at Nara Hotel This was before COVID-19. When I was traveling to Nara, I stayed at the Nara Hotel. I was excited to stay at the Nara Hotel, which I had always wanted to stay at. The restaurant and bar were also wonderful. From colorful appetizers to delicious wine, the cold soup had ice under the bowl, which was lovely. I had an adult cocktail that I don't usually drink in a bar with a mellow atmosphere, and the bread for breakfast was firm. I was a little surprised. I don't know how it's going with COVID-19, but I heard they do some kind of takeout! ? Please search online or call to make a reservation and go visit. By the way, I also recommend renting a bicycle when you stay there. The deer in Nara are very spiritual creatures [Askance][Askance] A major feature of this park is that there are about 1,400 wild deer roaming freely in the park. Deer can be seen everywhere, on the road, in temples, on lawns, and on the hillsides. [Joyful][Joyful] When they see the deer biscuits in the hands of tourists, they will come over and eat them docilely, and even bow to you politely. Therefore, feeding the cute little deer is the greatest pleasure of traveling to Nara! So I ended up staying in the new building, but if you're looking for the Nara Hotel, I definitely recommend the main building😌 The hotel itself was really wonderful and I had a lot of fun touring the building🥰 There was also a guide map of the art on display, which made it even more interesting to look around. Just looking at the hotel shop was fun and exciting. I ended up buying some stickers. They have a great selection of souvenirs, so I recommend it❤ Also, the hotel staff were wonderful, and the front desk staff, the tea room staff, and the Mikasa restaurant staff were all really warm and welcoming. While they are adorable, be careful not to step on their poo which is all over the place. Most of the deer horns are cut off, likely to prevent them from attacking the people.
