One-day trip to Tin Hau Temple in Nansha during National Day holiday.
On the fifth day of National Day, I took the subway to Tin Hau Temple in Nansha. There weren't too many people, and there was an 80% discount on tickets purchased on the spot during the holiday. Now, Tin Hau Temple has added a sightseeing car, which can take you to the top of the mountain for 15 yuan. There is also a new campsite and children's playground, which are free.
Next to Tin Hau Temple is the newly reopened Coastal Park, with the sea on one side and a large lawn on the other. However, it is too sunny and there are no benches to rest on.
On the way back, I took a taxi to the vicinity of Nansha Sports Stadium to see the pink muhly grass. It is a small patch planted on a flower bed by the sea, and some of it has been trampled on. However, this is the only patch of pink muhly grass that can be seen in Guangzhou.
Public transportation to see the pink muhly grass: Take bus No. 32 from Nansha to Guangzhou Foreign Language School Station at the bus terminal of Jiaomen Subway Station, then walk about 10 minutes to the riverside.

The Nanling Tower of Nansha Tianhou Palace@Guangzhou
Climbing up Nansha Tianhou Temple, visitors will be able to find the Nanling Tower, an eight floors building rises to a height of 45 meters. There are two historical purposes of building the tower, one is the height which balances Dajiao Mountain main peak, the other is about the saying"Left-cyan dragon". The tower is not only the navigation to the ships but the marker of Nansha Tianhou Temple when people overlook the palace from far. It was claimed that when the wind is coming, the 56 bell which hang at the corner of the tower, will tinkle through the palace. Once the tourists climb the top, it affords a fine view of Tianhou Temple

Find a good weather, with respect for history and love for nature, avoid the crowded city, don't spend any wronged money, save it and go to Guangzhou's backyard to breathe some fresh air.
🏛【Puzhou Battery--Nansha's historical treasure】
Standing on the ancient battery, it seems that you can hear the echoes of history. This place was an important maritime defense stronghold during the Ming and Qing dynasties, guarding the peace of the South China Sea. The exhibition inside the battery provides a detailed introduction to the history and military background of Nansha, giving a deeper understanding of this land.
🌺【Puzhou Garden--The backyard of a fairy-tale world】
The flowers and greenery here are abundant, with a view at every step, making one feel as if they are in a natural oxygen bar. Strolling in the garden, breathing the fresh air, and feeling the gifts of nature is truly one of life's great pleasures.
🏖【Nansha Tianhou Palace--The holy land of Mazu cultural belief】
🏖The seaside is not particularly recommended to visit, details can be seen in my last note. However, Tianhou Palace is still quite recommended to visit. The sculpture of Tianhou facing the sea, Tianhou Palace is the largest and highest standard existing Tianhou Palace in our country, which is very spectacular, and it is also the center of Taoist belief in the Guangzhou area.
🏡【Nanbei Tai Village--A colorful village with childlike fun】
The ancient village preserves many lovely murals. Walking through the village, it's like stepping into the anime world of Hayao Miyazaki. Rainbow stairs, Doraemon, quirky little people, blue whales... A colorful fairy-tale world, historical stories with depth, and distinctive layered steps, if you want to find back the childlike innocence of your childhood, it's worth coming here for a stroll.
🚤【Nansha Yacht Club--A beauty that doesn't feel like in the country】
There are many luxury yachts moored here, which is a characteristic European-style high-end leisure place in Nansha. In the evening, you can enjoy the coastline of Nansha and the beautiful sunset, feeling the romance of the sea and the comfort of the sunset.
🌅Overall, there are still fewer people on weekdays, which is more suitable for coming out to enjoy the charm of nature, avoiding the crowded city, and experiencing the natural scenery, it is still worth coming for a citywalk.

The supreme Mazu Temple known as D Yigong is where all wishes are granted
The Nansha Mazu Temple is located at the southeast foot of Dajiao Mountain, adjacent to the Lingding Ocean where Wen Tianxiang left his poems of conviction, and faces Dongguan City across the sea. Its architectural scale is unrivaled among similar structures, earning it the reputation of 'The supreme Mazu Temple in the world.' As the goddess of China's coastal areas, most coastal residents believe in her and specifically come here to experience the profound religious culture of the Mazu Temple.
In the past, traveling from Guangzhou's main urban area to the Nansha Mazu Temple always felt very far, but now it has become very convenient to get there by taking the Metro Line 4 to the Nansha Passenger Port Station and walking about 800 meters after exiting the station.
This is also the only sea route from Guangzhou to the ocean. Following the river downstream from here leads to the Lingding Ocean, where Wen Tianxiang wrote a famous poem called 'Crossing the Lingding Ocean,' referring to the very Lingding Ocean here.
The Nansha Mazu Temple is the largest Mazu temple in Southeast Asia, and the entire temple exudes a transcendent and extraordinary aura. The high-level temple plaza is also an excellent platform for sea viewing, offering a panoramic view of the magnificent seascape at the mouth of the Pearl River, with a very impressive visual effect.
Where there is faith, there is devotion. Mazu protects the people and ships around Nansha. What remains is not only mythological stories but also the profound connection between the believers and Mazu, continuing the traditional Chinese cultural customs.
If you pay attention to the information about the Mazu Temple in advance, grand ceremonies will be held for the Heavenly Queen on important festival days, such as the first or fifteenth day of the lunar month. For those interested in Mazu, no matter how good the pictures and texts are, they are not as good as personally visiting and truly experiencing the charm of Mazu culture. With such convenient transportation, why not take a trip?

I really like to go to a place with a good natural environment around Guangzhou for a break, I went to Nansha a few days ago and found a small popular treasure camping spot near Tianhou Palace.
We entered Puzhou Garden Park from Tianhou Palace beach, the road was like what Li Bai described as 'looking back on the path we came, it was lush and green'.
As we walked, we saw a fairy-tale-like cabin, Guangzhou's autumn is very suitable for camping, especially when there is a beautiful lawn and a good environment, so we rented a tent on the spot.
This place is particularly suitable for tourists like me who are afraid of trouble, there are ready-made ingredients and kitchenware here, we ordered a set meal for 188/person, there are a total of 12 kinds of ingredients including steak, lamb chops, prawns, squid, etc., we had to hold our stomachs and go back at night.
The campsite manager is very hospitable, we can also sing a wild K here at night, next time we can bring the company's colleagues to team building here, because it is very beautiful here, the photos are very good, the company's little sister is very good at taking pictures, unlike the husband who is unwilling to take pictures for me.

Found the best place for walking and cycling in Guangzhou!
Found the best place for walking and cycling in Guangzhou!🍂
Besides the "sea" in Nansha, there is also a romantic Metasequoia
Taking advantage of the weekend, I found the Metasequoia forest that I had been looking forward to in spring
Now it's full of autumn and winter feelings
Unconsciously, another year is about to pass🍂
-
📍Tianhou Road, Nansha District (you can navigate to "Lufu Farm")
🚇Exit A of "Nansha Passenger Port Station" on Guangzhou Metro Line 4 (about one and a half from the city)
-
Now is basically the best viewing period
The afternoon sun shines through the Metasequoia to the ground, it's very healing
There are some cars bustling on the road
But it's not too many, it's best to go on weekdays when there are fewer people
Some photo shooting small tips:
1️⃣Suitable for wearing Merlot color series, the autumn and winter atmosphere is better
2️⃣It's about 2km long, suitable for cycling and walking, and it's close to the seaside of Tianhou Palace, you can play together
3️⃣You can use the mobile phone portrait to zoom in the focal length to create a better atmosphere
4️⃣Use the zebra crossing in the middle of the road to compose, capture natural photos
5️⃣Surrounding attractions: Puzhou Garden, Puzhou Fort, Tianhou Palace, Nansha Yacht Club, basically you can check in all in one afternoon

Discovered the deserted Metasequoia Avenue in Guangzhou with direct subway access!
Visited Nansha for the sea several times 🌊
🙋🏻♂️This time discovered a deserted Metasequoia road
Located next to the Tianhou Palace, a very long road,
Winding and twisting, you can't see the end at a glance, like a scene in a movie~
-
📍Nansha District Tianhou Road (can navigate to “Lufu Farm”)
🚇Guangzhou Metro Line 4 “Nansha Passenger Port Station” Exit A
-
🔖Little tips:
📷You can use the mobile phone's telephoto ×2-3 to take pictures, very good results!
There are zebra crossings on the road, you can capture when crossing the zebra crossing~
There are few cars usually, but be careful not to affect the normal driving vehicles when taking pictures!
There are sidewalks on both sides of the road, you can ride and walk,
The nearby is Puzhou Garden, Tianhou Palace, you can play together when checking in.
