Nanjing, I'm back again.
I'm back in Nanjing again~ But this time, I mainly went to the Confucius Temple in Nanjing. The Confucius Temple is located on the beautiful Qinhuai River. It is one of the four major Confucian temples in China. It was not only the cultural and educational center of Nanjing during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, but also an ancient architectural complex with a thousand years of cultural heritage. There is not only a solemn Confucian temple, but also ancient streets and lanes, exquisite gardens, and rich historical and cultural relics, where you can learn more about the history and culture of Nanjing.
Recommended tour route🚩
🚶♂️Start from the Confucius Temple Square, admire the majestic Confucius Temple gate and exquisite screen wall. Then visit the Confucian Temple to learn about Confucius's life and great thoughts; go to the Xuegong to feel the academic atmosphere of the ancient academy; stroll in the Gongyuan to explore the mystery of the ancient imperial examination system. Finally, stroll along the Qinhuai River🚶🏼♀️, admire the scenery on both sides of the river and the ancient buildings.
Recommended food:
🍲There are many famous Nanjing snacks around the Confucius Temple in Nanjing, such as chicken soup dumplings, duck blood vermicelli soup, 🍜beef pot stickers, etc. These foods are not only delicious🍭, but also have strong local characteristics, and are a must-try food experience.

Nanjing Charms
The place is captivating at any time of the day most especially at night time. Less crowd in the morning, many shops open late. The Confucious Temple refers to this area. It is one of the most essential attractions in Nanjing , the place where Confucious was worshipped at ancient times. The place is lively from late afternoon till night. There's lots of shops in the area. There's a cruise line to overlook the scenery of Quinhuai River - the river is not wide but it has a veru long history, 80¥/person during the day and 100¥ in the evening.
It's so much worth visiting. The cultural atmosphere is elegant and the sorrounding is very charming.

New year Eve, Nanjing
Confucius temple in Nanjing is one the most crowded place in Nanjing during lunar new year while all other places looks deserted 🌟🎊. The temple will be decorated with beautiful lights all over and this time there was a museum with 100 year old stuffs with free entrance 🎨🎷. On the top floor lots of items for sales like Chinese first made chocolate 🍫, face creams and more.
Lots of stalls with different varieties of food are in and out of the temple area 🥘🍤🍡.
Getting there : Fuzimiao metro station of Line 3 is the closest metro station to Confucius temple 🚇.

Yummy street food
While exploring the history and culture of Confucius temple don't forget to check out the food stalls here 🍱. You have a lot varieties to choose and I am sure you will be in trouble to choose if you're a food explorer 🌯. Most of the foods are reasonable and the dishes I tried was so tasty and I loved the spicy flavors 🍲.

Take Back Some Memories 👑
If you're a person who collects small things for memories from the places you visit, this shop is for you ❤️
This shop is inside Confucius temple just opposite to Starbucks cafe ☕️. It has a variety of mini art collections including fridge magnets and keychains which portraits different signature things of Nanjing. 🍡 And the best part is that they also have a small description part included with the magnets. 🏵

Before I came to ask friends where Nanjing is fun, they blurted out the Confucius Temple. In the eyes of many people, Confucius Temple has already become a real tourist attraction, but it is also the No.1 attraction outside the pit.
Although the slot is full, but I dont think that the trip to Nanjing in the Confucius Temple is incomplete. Fortunately, the value of Qinhuais night scene is still very good. Ive been shopping for an afternoon from the old gate. It is still unconventional to go to the Confucius Temple ~
Shili Qinhuai, the Six Dynasties old things, like a poem that is still unfinished, you can always be in the streets, next to the ancient bridge, to appreciate the Jinling smoke of the old Nanjing ~
-swenty-.
I have visited the Qinhuai River in Nanjing Confucius Temple more than once. Every time I visit, I feel different. When you mention the Qinhuai River, you will inevitably think of Du Mu's poem: “the smoke cage cold water, the low-pitched sing, the moon's backyard flowers. . .” Everything that depicts a cold Qinhuai night.
Nowadays, the Qinhuai River is not the same as it was at that time. Looking at the bustling and brightly lit scene, it is quite different from what you would imagine. When Nanjing is rainy, it is too sentimental in my eyes, but it is also unique. During the trip, I always felt that the scenery needed a blue sky and white clouds to look good. But Nanjing has an unparalleled rainy temperament.
carina..
This is what Nanjing will look like next month.
"A lone boat, a straw raincoat, an old man, fishing alone in the cold river snow."
Nanjing after the snow is as beautiful as Jinling in a painting! ❄️ Nanjing is expected to see its first snow in December this year. When the time comes, remember to hold the hand of the person you like and go see this romantic first snow together! The following places are definitely worth a visit, and you can take great photos anywhere! 📸
1. Confucius Temple, Dongyuan Bridge
The warm red lanterns set off the snowy night, mysterious and beautiful. Watch the snow on the banks of the Qinhuai River and feel the fireworks and tenderness of the ancient city. The romance index is off the charts!
2. Zhongshan Scenic Area Lingyuan Road
One of Nanjing's classic check-in points! The tall phoenix trees are quiet and solemn in the snow, and pedestrians and vehicles are small in the shadows of the trees. The whole picture is like a movie painting, stunning and breathtaking.
3. Liuhui Pavilion
A hidden gem in Zhongshan Scenic Area. The snow falls, as if traveling to the poetic world in ancient literature, feeling the elegance and deep affection in the thousand-year-old cultural context.
In December, take the person in your heart to meet the first snow in this city! ✨

Nanjing | The 16th stop of my post-resignation trip.
🚦Location: Nanjing, Jiangsu
🟥Route: Confucius Temple ~ Laomendong ~ Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum ~ Zhongshan Wharf
🟦Food: Duck blood vermicelli soup
🟠I woke up naturally in the morning and took a stroll around the Confucius Temple when there were not many people. It was quite comfortable. Compared to the crowded night, the Confucius Temple was particularly quiet and leisurely at this moment. Don't miss the Qinhuai River during the day.
🟡I walked through Wuyi Lane to Laomendong, and it was time to wander in the alleys again. The mottled walls, some vibrant green trees, and dead leaves were all particularly beautiful. The Xianfeng Bookstore here is still not as elegant as the main store.
🟢The Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in autumn should be the best. Sitting on a sightseeing bus and shuttling along the Wutong Avenue, the romance is self-evident. There were many people taking photos. Everyone wanted to see and record the city of Jinling full of phoenix trees! The pigeons at the music stage kept flying, which was healing and relaxing. At this moment, you should think of the BGM exclusive to Nanjing.
🟣I visited the memorial hall of Mr. Sun Yat-sen and felt his life. I stopped to listen to Lin Juemin's "Letter to My Wife," and time seemed to pause as the story unfolded.
🟤The sunset at Zhongshan Wharf was really worth it. The ferry ticket to Pukou Wharf was only 2 yuan. The train station in Mr. Zhu Ziqing's "Back View" was right across the exit. The sunset and evening glow were all in my eyes on the way back and forth, which was very romantic.
📝This was not my first time in Nanjing. I changed my plan temporarily to come here again. The season was different, the scenery was different, and my mood was different. I once basked in the sun at Xuanwu Lake for an entire afternoon. I also carefully read those postcards with words left behind at Xianfeng Bookstore. I even got lost at Xinjiekou and made a wrong reservation for the ticket date of the Nanjing Museum. But I still had new perceptions and experiences.
📝There are many coincidences in life. You get them by chance and lose them by chance. When you revisit the old place and see those familiar streets and buildings slowly waking up in your memory, it is like meeting an old friend again, like looking back at your past self through the eyes of time.
📝Life advice: Don't try the bus at 6:00 lightly. The traffic jam will make you doubt your life.

Solo trip to Nanjing!!!
Depart from Guangdong! Solo trip to Nanjing 🍁 was so much fun! ||| Special note‼️: This is just my personal opinion and experience.
About food 🍽️
1️⃣ Jiming Soup Dumplings: Chrysanthemum leaves, signature pork, crab roe, duck blood vermicelli, red bean glutinous rice balls (highly recommended! Super delicious 🤤!)
2️⃣ Liu Changxing: Dumplings, dumplings, dumplings!! Big and juicy 🤤
3️⃣ Qijiawan Beef Potstickers: Delicious! I ordered takeout! The filling is sweet and juicy!
4️⃣ Shuiximen Wangji Duck: I ordered takeout for this too! I ate it for two days! Personally, I think the roast duck is better than the salted duck. The sweet and salty flavor goes perfectly with rice.
5️⃣ Shisan Tea: Rose dew, no sugar, normal ice, just right for me
6️⃣ Ma Wuwang: Super Mango (The staff here are really nice! The packaging design is also quite cultural, so I highly recommend it!)
7️⃣ Aunt Xu's Green Rice Balls: Not bad, not great. I bought it because it was on the way, just downstairs from the hotel. I think the Ai Ci in Guangdong is better. If you like sticky rice balls, you can try it.
About attractions 🌄 (Remember to make a reservation and book tickets in advance)
I visited: Presidential Palace, Three Must-Win, Confucius Temple, Qinhuai River, Xuanwu Lake, Zhongshan Scenic Area, Nanjing Museum
(Take the sightseeing bus if you can! There are a lot of people even on weekdays! The scenic area is large, so I don't recommend walking. Go to Confucius Temple and Qinhuai River at night to take photos!)
Accommodation 🏨: Youdu Shiyue (Perfect for solo travelers! All female guests, which is great!)
Complaints: I hate the traffic planning in Nanjing! The roads are narrow! Cars don't yield to pedestrians, and even when the light is green, electric scooters rush through the crosswalk... There are very few escalators in the subway! If you have heavy luggage, I suggest taking a taxi to and from the airport.
Summary: Nanjing is great, I'll come again!

Strolling and Eating at Fuzimiao!
Generally, the area around the Qinhuai River and Jiankang Road (including Li Xiangjun's Former Residence, Jiangnan Examination Hall, and Wang Dao Xie An Memorial Hall) is also referred to as Fuzimiao. This entire area is designated as the highest AAAAA level tourist attraction by the state. It is one of the busiest commercial districts in Nanjing and remains lively until late at night.
During the day, you can enjoy street food and shopping, and at night, savor delicious meals and drinks. This is the best way to enjoy Fuzimiao. It is one of the must-visit spots when you come to Nanjing.

I'll stay at this hotel whenever I come to Nanjing. It's nice and affordable.
Nanjing❗❗ Sitting in the room and looking at the Qinhuai River 🥰|||🥰 This is my second time in Nanjing. I chose a hotel close to the Confucius Temple. It feels great to sit in the room and look at the Qinhuai River❗❗
The location is good. You can walk to the food stalls and Little Kitchen. I also had tea at Chayan Yuese.
.
Service
The service is very attentive. The front desk staff enthusiastically introduced the travel guide. I stood at the door for a while, and a young man asked me if I needed help.
🏨Hotel facilities
The room is spacious, bright, and comfortable. The facilities are intelligent, such as smart curtains and smart toilets🚽. You can also let the smart voice assistant tell stories, and the child fell asleep while listening. The room was also cleaned very well. There are disposable bath bags in the bathtub🛁. The open-air balcony is spacious and comfortable. You can have a drink☕ and watch the crowds in the distance.
.
Check-in experience
You can see the Qinhuai River when you open the window and fall asleep to the sound of the water at night. The hotel is small but well-equipped. The hotel restaurant is behind the lobby. Breakfast includes duck blood vermicelli soup, noodle soup, and wontons🍜, as well as a variety of steamed dim sum.
🌲Hotel location
The hotel is quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle. It is located at the intersection outside the northeast gate of the Confucius Temple, a few dozen meters away. It is a 4-minute walk to the Confucius Temple subway station🚇. Whether you want to take a night tour of the Qinhuai River or visit the Confucius Temple and the Imperial Examination Museum, they are all within a 10-minute walk. When you go out, you will find yourself on the Old Qinhuai Pedestrian Street. You can eat duck blood vermicelli soup and salted duck at Lao Shengqing, and buy biscuits at Zhu Ji Xiao Zheng. It's very convenient. If you drive, you can park your car in the yard, which is very reassuring.

Bailuzhou Park, Nanjing.
Bailuzhou Park is located on the north side of Wuding Gate, Qinhuai District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, in the southeast corner of Nanjing City. It is adjacent to Changle Road in the south, Xiaoshibajie Street in the north, the Ming City Wall in the east, Wuding Gate, and Pingjiangfu Road in the west.
Bailuzhou Park covers a total area of 229.41 mu, with a water area of 57.35 mu.

Bailuzhou Park is home to scenic spots such as Bridge View, Bailu Tower, Bailu Island, Jiufeng Temple, Xinyuan Building, Yanyu Pavilion, Yijiantang, Bailu Tower, and Water Street.
It is a cultural park with a main style of Chinese natural landscape gardens.

Autumn in Nanjing.
"Nanjing: A Charming City"
Nanjing, a city with a thousand-year history and modern prosperity, is like a heavy history book waiting to be read.
The solemn Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum bears witness to the rise and fall of ancient emperors, while the majestic Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum tells the story of a great man's ambitions and ideals. The ancient city walls wind their way through the city, guarding its changes.
The Confucius Temple and Qinhuai River are brightly lit and bustling. Take a painted boat to experience the charm of Qinhuai, with ancient buildings scattered along the shore and the aroma of snacks in the air.
Xuanwu Lake is a shimmering expanse of blue, reflecting the mountains and the lake. Qixia Mountain is ablaze with red maple leaves in autumn.
Museums showcase historical treasures and cultural heritage, while Xinjiekou displays modern vitality and fashion.
Nanjing's cuisine is not to be missed. Duck blood vermicelli soup is fresh and smooth, salted duck is tender and juicy, and plum blossom cake is sweet and soft, satisfying your taste buds.
Nanjing, a city that blends history and modernity, nature and culture, welcomes you with its unique charm. Come and start an unforgettable journey and leave with beautiful memories!

The Confucius temple aka Kong Zi the scholar - Fu Zhi Miao
This Confucius temple is located in the heart of Fuzhimiao night market! This temple should be visited at night and it is open until 10pm! Really good to take a reservation at one of those crowded restaurant then visit the Confucius temple. Confucius is not stranger to Chinese all over the world and there are lots to read about Kong Zi and all his past students that made history in China. You can get your souvenirs here as well.
