I don't travel abroad often, but I went to Fukuoka for my third independent trip. ㅎㅎ. It was my first trip to Japan, so I went for 3 nights and 4 days. #2025OverseasTravelEvent When you go to Fukuoka, the famous place is the Nakasu River! There is a street of food stalls nearby. We had a drink at the Nakasu food stall street for the second round. There were several places with waiting lines, but we sat down at an empty seat. There was a waiting line here too. The atmosphere was good, but it was a bit expensive.

Day 1: Arrival in Fukuoka City Upon arrival in Fukuoka, head to your hotel for check-in, then explore the Tenjin shopping district. This area is great for shopping and food, where you can try local tonkotsu ramen and various snacks to prepare for the upcoming itinerary. Day 2: Fukuoka City Tour After breakfast, visit Uminonakamichi Seaside Park for a relaxing walk. Have lunch at a nearby restaurant, and in the evening, head to the Nakasu area to experience the local nightlife and cuisine. The location is excellent, with a popular bakery next door that always has a line, and an R coffee shop nearby. It's close to Daimaru, Mitsukoshi, Nakasu, and the famous Pain bakery. You can also walk to the Blue Bottle and Ichiran. The hotel breakfast is also good. There's an udon noodle shop next door. Transportation is very convenient.

Nakasu is the largest red-neon light district in the western Japan area after Osaka. That being said: Nakasu is a risqué area similar in nature to Kabukicho in Tokyo with its share of host and hostess clubs which may offend some people (as noted in other reviews). There was a place to stay between Tenjin and Nakasu, so I was able to go around here and there easily. #Momochi Beach was especially nice. It took about 25 minutes by bus from Tenjin. #Ichiran Ramen's main branch was also nearby, so I walked there and had a bowl.
