The Nagoya City Art Museum is located in Shirakawa Park. It has a very beautiful structure and was designed by the famous Japanese architect Kurokawa Kisho. The museum has a large collection of Japanese and Western art, and the permanent exhibits are displayed in reincarnation. In addition, the museum also exhibits exhibits from other museums around the world.

Limited time Winnie the Pooh exhibition🐻
The limited-time Winnie the Pooh exhibition in Nagoya is something you can't miss as a fan. It is located in the Nagoya Art Museum and will display the original manuscripts and poems of the stories. There are also several projection screens at the venue that will make you feel like you are in the forest at Winnie the Pooh's home.
After visiting the exhibition hall, there are Winnie the Pooh products for sale outside the hall, some of which are unique to the exhibition and are very exquisite☺️

#nagoyatrip The ticket price is quite high for such a small and run down museum. The exhibitions are rarely of note and mostly feature postwar Japanese art. When big-name art collections come through (like Van Gogh) it's primarily a collection of minor works with perhaps one better known piece. Once in a while there will be a better contemporary show, but almost every time I've been here there is surprisingly little to look at, four or five artists being shown in the entire building, as if they couldn't find enough work to show.

Nagoya City Art Museum is by far the most peculiar art museum I have been into. It has a lot of weird art pieces that I couldn't understand. (See pictures) It is said that many of the creations in the museum are surrealist art. Well, I think I am not that familiar with surrealist art, that's probably why I was a little bit confused when I was there. It was a pretty interesting visit. They are open all days of the week except Mondays, and entrance fee is as cheap as ¥300 per adult.
