Historic buildings
Nezha Temple is not big, it is located behind the archway of the Great Sanba. It is said that before the temple was built, the plague was prevalent in Macau. In order to avoid disasters, the residents of the area built this temple to worship Nezha as the protector. Compared with the surrounding buildings, Nezha Temple is like an architectural sketch. It does not compete with the old city wall and the archway of the Great Sanba for the thickness and majesty of the pier. Instead, it reflects its light and unique image through simple decorative materials and different contrasting methods. The building is 8.4 meters deep and 4.51 meters wide. It is a two-entry building, but there is no patio in the middle. It is a rare example of traditional Chinese temples. In the main hall of Nezha Temple, Nezha statues of different shapes are enshrined.
