#SingaporeTravel My Awesome Cafe is a chic cafe on Telok Ayer Street, not far from Singapore's Chinatown. The cafe is located in an old building that used to be the Chung Hwa Free Clinic, a traditional Chinese medicine clinic. Franck Hardy has transformed it into this cafe, combining the original Chinese commercial building with modern Western decorations, creating a perfect combination. The cafe opened on Valentine's Day 2014, which is a perfect opening for the occasion of love. The menu here has tea, coffee, various fruit juices, desserts, ice cream, and cafe-style savory food. We ordered a Hot Flat White and a Hot Latte. The coffee was strong and fragrant, with smooth milk foam. The taste was great. As for dessert, we ordered a Pineapple Upside Down cake. We visited the awesome cafe on a weekend for brunch and the place was surprisingly not packed. It's a beautiful heritage building that used to be a Chinese medical hospital. With the name my awesome cafe, i was quite curious what kind of food is served at this ‘Chinese Medical Hospital’. The interiors are very well preserved. At one glance, the interior is unlike what the exterior says. It is quirky and fun with a lot of colorful elements. We ordered the Chicken Turmeric & Ginger Curry. The service staff recommended to add on the half brioche to go with the curry and it was a brilliant choice. The same was the case with the drinks that were recommended. We sat in one of the tables outside when the drinks arrived and it was great to soak in the environment. #myhiddengems

The service team was incredibly helpful in ensuring our event ran smoothly and we received a lot of positive feedback from our guests. The food portions are truly generous and the atmosphere of the cafe is also wonderful - with a cozy, inviting ambiance!

When I first arrived, the exterior design of the cafe is so unique. The interior design of the cafe is even more unique with vintage decorations. What’s even more interesting is that the cafe is also well decorated for the festive season with many lanterns. The ambience of the cafe is already a good reason to visit! There is quite a number of seats available and there are many good options too. We ordered the salad and it tastes delicious. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional effort he put into decorating the venue for our Company's Christmas Celebration. Upon our arrival, it was heartwarming to see Franck personally involved in decorating the place. It was evident that he takes immense pride in his work, ensuring that every detail was perfectly in place. His commitment to creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere truly set the tone for our celebration. I would also like to extend my appreciation to Franck for his thoughtful assurance regarding the catering. His willingness to prepare extra food for our vegetarian staff member, if needed, demonstrated a level of customer service that goes above and beyond. There were already vegetarian choices on the table but he kept assuring me that he could prepare extras for us if we need to.
