The setting of the Sound of Music and where Mozart lived. And a place where you can go to Hallstatt and a place with delicious beer!! Known as the city of Mozart, Salzburg is a very simple, small, hilly, yet stunningly beautiful village. Strolling around the city for the whole day is the best way to see Salzburg’s beauty, and not forget to mention to hike the hill where you can get the view of the whole city. Also, don’t forget to visit the ford and if you have the chance, you can also opt for a musical concert here. #HalloTrip

From the moment our tour began, Salzburg captured my heart! ❤️ Nestled between the Alps and full of baroque charm, this city truly felt like stepping into a fairytale. Here's a breakdown of our unforgettable day: 🕘 Morning – Mirabell Gardens & Old Town Stroll We started at the breathtaking Mirabell Gardens 🌸, where scenes from The Sound of Music came to life! The perfectly manicured gardens with views of the Hohensalzburg Fortress were the perfect backdrop for photos 📸. We then wandered through the charming streets of the Altstadt (Old Town), admiring the Mozartplatz, Getreidegasse, and the beautiful wrought iron signs 🛍️. 🎻 Midday – Mozart & Markets A visit to Mozart’s Birthplace 🎼 was a highlight – fascinating and well-curated! The local markets nearby were buzzing with life. We grabbed a pretzel 🥨 and enjoyed some local cheese while soaking up the vibrant atmosphere. 🏰 Afternoon – Hohensalzburg Fortress Taking the funicular 🚠 up to Hohensalzburg Fortress was a must. The views over the city and surrounding mountains were absolutely breathtaking 🏔️. The history within the fortress was rich and well-presented, and the experience felt immersive without being overwhelming. 🍽️ Evening – Traditional Austrian Dinner We wrapped up the tour with a delicious dinner at a cozy tavern 🍷. I tried the Wiener Schnitzel and my partner had the Kasnocken – both were divine! The local hospitality made us feel right at home. 🎶 Bonus – Sound of Music Vibes As fans of The Sound of Music, seeing filming locations throughout the day was such a treat. From the gardens to the hills, it all felt surreal 🎶🌄.

#JapanFlightEvent Mozartbridge is a great place to enjoy the riverside scenery! If you go next to the building in front of Mozart Square, you will see an iron bridge. This is Mozartbridge! It is good to stand on the bridge and take pictures, and if you cross the bridge, you can see Hohenschwangau Castle ~

#JapanFlightEvent Mozart Square where Mozart's statue stands tall! In winter, a temporary ice rink is built in the middle of the square, so it's a great place to enjoy winter activities ~ You can see the Mozart statue and skate, so it would be good to visit with some time to spare ~

I took a picture in front of the square and also bought some Mozart chocolatesㅎ I didn't have enough time to go inside Mozart's birthplace, but next time I'll definitely have to see the inside of the house👍

If you are looking for a place to eat dinner after taking the Salzburg Castle Funicular, I highly recommend this place. Pauli stubm is a pub that sells food and beer. The statue of Mozart and the grandeur of the Salzburg Cathedral are beautiful in themselves, but the biggest reason to visit the square is to enjoy the leisurely atmosphere of the square while feeling the cool breeze. There are also open-air restaurants around the square, so although the price is a bit burdensome, ordering a beer and enjoying the luxury is one of the pleasures of traveling in Europe. And compared to other countries, the price is not that bad.

It was an amazing place with a historical importance for it is the birth place of Mozart. The small town is beautiful with a traditional sense of bueauty. Our tour guide was a very friendly and smily person who was full of life and humour. I loved the streets and the quiet life of the village. I would like to return there one day to learn more about the every day life of the people. The cold is not bearable though for a southern like me so be prepared to get heavy clothes just to prevent freezing. The forests around are stunning and wild and the ride to the town is breathtaking with a wild sense of beauty. Really nice culture at Mozartplatz. When I come to Salzburg, I usually use "Mozart Square" as the most landmark place. Because it is centered on Mozart Square, no matter where you want to go to Salzburg, it will not be too far away. This area near Mozart Square can be visited along with the core attractions such as Mozarts birthplace, Karajan Square, Buck Bridge and Salzburg Cathedral. Responsible travel tips 1 Salzburg is not a big city, the main scenic spots can be reached by foot; 2 Salzburg's main means of transport is public transport Cars, subways are not popular here; 3 Even in the most central area of Mozart Square, the flow of people will not be very large, giving people a very comfortable feeling, you can also go to the concert.
