Mount Eboshi Observatory Address:
Toyotamamachi Nii, Tsushima, Nagasaki 817-1201, Japan
Special Trip to Tsushima Island, Japan
Tsushima City is a city under the jurisdiction of Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. It is located in the Tsushima Islands between Kyushu Island, Japan, and South Korea. Interestingly, it is still a place of much dispute.

✅️Eboshi-dake Observatory
At an altitude of 204 meters, it offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the Tsushima Strait and surrounding islands. On clear days, you can even see South Korea in the distance.
_
✅️Saoki Park
A seaside park open free of charge all year round, featuring coastal rock landscapes and nature trails. The Tsushima Wildlife Conservation Center is also nearby, making it suitable for parent-child nature education.
_
✅️Minatohama Beach
One of the most popular beaches on Tsushima Island, with fine sand and clear water. Snorkeling and kayaking are available in the summer.
_
✅️Watatsumi Shrine
An ancient shrine with a thousand-year history, dedicated to the sea god. The shrine's torii gate extends into the sea, and at low tide, you can walk to the furthest torii gate, which is quite mystical.
_
✅️Kaneda Castle Ruins
The ruins of a mountain castle built in the 7th century, once a military fortress against invasions from the Korean Peninsula. Now designated as a National Historic Site of Japan, it offers a panoramic view of Asamo Bay from the top.
_
Tsushima Island is a unique tourist destination, so when you come here, you can gain more perspectives and historical insights.

Eboshidake Observatory is a scenic spot where you can see the ocean at a glance.
The walking path is well-constructed, so it is a good point to take a walk while feeling the cool sea breeze.
You can see a 360-degree panoramic view.

📍 Eboshi-take Observatory 烏帽子岳展望所
The best thing about my trip to Tsushima, Japan was the Eboshi-take Observatory.
I went there by rental car.
The road was winding and rural, so I had to drive safely.
I parked in the parking lot and climbed the stairs for about 5 minutes to the observatory. It was so hard to climb up, but the natural scenery was so moving. I arrived at around 5 o'clock in late December, and the sunset🌅 was so pretty.
Try combining the Eboshi-take Observatory and Watatsumi Shrine to make a Tsushima travel course. However, Watatsumi Shrine was a little scary when it got dark!! I recommend going to Watatsumi Shrine first, then going down to the Eboshi-take Observatory to see the sunset.
📌No admission fee for either place
