The legend of Kibitsuhiko-no-Mikoto and Ura, which is said to be the origin of the Momotaro (Ogre Slayer) legend, remains here. You can experience the legendary sites such as Yaochi-iwa, where the arrow used to slay the ogre was placed, and Okamaden, where the ogre's head is said to be buried. The Nari-kama Shinto ritual, which predicts fortune based on the sound of a boiling pot, is popular among many people. The main hall and worship hall, rebuilt in 1425, are the only examples of the Kibitsu-zukuri architectural style (Hiyoku Irimoya-zukuri) in the country and are designated as national treasures. Additionally, the beautiful 360-meter corridor extending from the main hall is a historical structure worth seeing.
