Dongpanshan: A Scenic Mountain and Sea Experience
🌴 Dongpanshan, often referred to as the "Little Wugong Mountain of Eastern Zhejiang," offers stunning views of the sea and wind turbines from its ridge. The small loop trail spans approximately 7 kilometers with an elevation gain of around 500 meters.
🌾 Starting from Hangzhou, it takes about 3 hours to reach the trailhead. From there, the hike begins, passing by several small streams and waterfalls. After about 2 hours, you'll reach the ridge, where you can enjoy the breathtaking scenery, take photos, and walk along the undulating ridge path.
🌻 The descent can be slippery, but by around 4 PM, you'll arrive back at the base. The starting and ending point features a reservoir with crystal-clear, emerald-green water that leaves hikers in awe.
🚘 Route: Navigate to the Shangchemen Village Cultural Hall, which has restrooms nearby.
🏝 Recommended Activities: Small loop trail, alpine meadows, wind turbines, and distant sea views.
