We were at Byron bay for 4 days and we still got a lot done, it’s a small quiet little town that has loads of independent restaurants/ cafes and shops which is always nice to explore. whilst there it’s a must that you go to the most easterly point of Australia, a lovely location that overlooks the sea and beyond, additionally when you reach the top of the hill there is a lighthouse which is nice to stop and get some pictures by! We also went Kayaking through a tour we booked which was great as you got to go into the water and see Byron bay from a different angle, overall a lovely town with friendly locals and perfect for a seaside stay. #travelling #byronbay

It is in the state of New South Wales and a couple of hours drive from #sydney This quaint little town is a great place to chill out with its many cafes and restaurants along the Main Street, and it’s beaches with great views of the turquoise blue sea. This beach town will definitely slow things down for you as you wander around it’s numerous sidewalks to explore what they have to offer. Getting There - To beat covid and all the travel restrictions and border closures, we escaped to Byron Bay, a short drive a cross the border from Queensland into New South Wales, or you can fly into Ballina Airport which is only a 30 minute drive to Byron. Attractions - Byron Bay Cookie Company and the lighthouse a must. A great walk up to the lighthouse with a cafe at the top. Hotels - Amazing Balinese style hotels, very busy and quite expensive at the moment due to everyone going on holiday within Australia. Food & Restaurants - Great choice of places to eat, all cuisines but again busy so book in advance! Shopping - there are a few shops here, surf shops mainly but we didn’t come here for the shopping. just to relax and chill, great coffee, food and wine. #café#romanticrestaurant

Skydiving is one of the most extreme sports you can indulge in when in Australia. Not everyone has the courage to jump from 15,000 feet! They say that after you have done it once, it becomes addictive. After all, the experience of soaring through the sky is exciting and precious. Skydiving activities can either be booked online or at the hotel. It is very convenient. It is also recommended to go as soon as you can since the waiting time is long. When everything is ready, you will have to board the small plane. Only five or six people are allowed to jump together. It is no wonder the wait time is long. After the jump, a certificate will be issued to commemorate your skydiving experience.

Cape Byron Lighthouse🌊 I was very impressed when we drove up to the lighthouse. I was surprised to see such a beautiful sea and greenery in 360 degrees! The sunset is also very beautiful! This photo was taken in January, and the sea was a little murky and the sand was worn down when I visited recently, probably due to the effects of the typhoon. I wonder when it will be fully restored...🥲 ⚠️Anyway, there are few parking spaces, so you will have to drive around many times or walk about 30 minutes to park. Fantastic spot. So many options on the menu that I'm keen to get back and try. Interesting atmosphere with antique items on display in a historic building. Food served on big plates with paper napkins. Some small rooms with single tables and one long lounge room with lots of plants and couches. The breakfast food was decadent with plenty of rich fat and sugar. A bit past the healthy range and trending to the unbalanced. Very good coffee and great staff. A gorgeous little Cafe, with a very well thought out menu. We got the beef cheeks hash. Absolutely phenomenal. A rich blend of beautiful flavors which creates a unique taste in the mouth. Truely the best coffee! And great service every time. Did try the food today, eggs bene with salmon was over 30 aussie dollars. Which is on the steeper side for eggs bene in my experience however it was really nice food and came quick, easy to fit a trip into my lunch hour. Amazing place, lovely staff. Dog friendly too!! They have a whole wall of photos of their regular dogs. Really yummy coffees. Got the eggs on toast and brioche French toast both delicious. Looks like a small cafe from the front but it’s huge on the inside. They have a little library where you can take home books and swap them for one you’ve already read. Lots of plants just an all over really cool place. You expect to pay quite a bit but it’s quite a good price for how awesome the food is. This place was awesome - the whole menu was so delicious sounding it was nearly impossible to choose! I did end up deciding and went with the Smashed Pumpkin. It was divine. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. The coffee was great. Outdoor and indoor seating - just adorable. I'll definitely be going back. Sooo have since gone back for their Bubbles and Brunch. The food and staff remain superior but the bubbles and brunch menu is quite limited, especially when it comes to options for drinks. #australiatrip#favourites #couplestrip

The food menu had unique savoury options, i ordered the gnocchi that surprisingly worked so well with the roasted hazelnut and was presented so beautifully. I also ordered a sweet strawberry and cream smoothie, that was nice too. There was a fair range of gluten free options but not many sweet gluten free options. The server was so kind, friendly and eager to help out for any questions i had. She was also very kind to my dog and gave her some water. Nice cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. Has a variety of cabinet and menu food available including gluten free, dairy free, paleo, vegetarian options. From wooden chairs and tables to large bars to comfortable sofas. Food never has to wait long. Good coffee and food. The staff is always happy so that impacts the service in a possitive way. Regardless of the weather, it is a good place to simply have a cup of coffee. One of my favorite cafes in town. Well made coffees, friendly staff, plenty of seats, small car park available. The cafe itself had quite a cool New York cafe vibe. Service was great! Myself and my partner both ordered the french toast (I also ordered an iced chocolate). The iced chocolate was so delicious , to the point that I drank it way too fast. Even though it was busy, my partner and I received our meals within 10 minutes of ordering. The french toast came with a variety of sweet fruit and also bacon (for an extra $5) The meal was absolutely delicious and brought together so many different flavors without being overpowering. We visited numerous times on seperate occasions and not once did this place disappoint. And I don't mean to exaggerate but because this spot was conveniently located near our hotel. We stopped by pretty often. The service was welcoming and relaxed. The waiter allowed us time and there was no rushing in. She greeted us every single time with a smile. She was attentive and served every one with calmness and gentleness. It was lovely to see that. Otherwise we don't really have great service tales from aussieland. The coffee was amazing. This was not only one of the best brunches I’ve had in town - it was also one of the most inventive. I’ve got to be honest, I’m tired of being offered smashed avo and eggs Benedict the traditional way. In my breakfast you’ll find homemade cheddar biscuits as a base (like a crunchier cheese scone), a corn and coriander smash and a delicious chipotle hollandaise. They didn’t charge me extra to swap bacon for halloumi (which is a win). Price wise, you’ll be expecting to spend around $30 for a warm drink and plate - it would be refreshing to see byron bay brunch spots bring their prices down a tad. The staff was very friendly and the food was great! They have a 2 page menu selection and coffee too. I loved their mushroom breakfast I just wish there was a little less mushroom haha. But tasty. Big place with seating inside or out. Good vegetarian and vegan options. Beautifully plated food. There are high chairs for children. Great ambience.
