A must-visit place when visiting Milan! The Milan Fondazione Prada Museum, run by the Prada Foundation!
#EuropeanTravel
I visited Fondazione Prada and it was a really great experience. It was located a little bit away from the city center of Milan, so it felt quiet and unique. This place was renovated from an old distillery and was designed by architect Rem Koolhaas. That's why the building itself felt very stylish and modern. In particular, the 'Haunted House' decorated with gold leaf and the 9-story 'Torre' were really impressive.
The exhibition was also very interesting. It mainly featured modern art pieces, but I was also able to see works by famous artists like Damien Hirst and Jeff Koons. Each space had a different atmosphere, so I was able to experience a new sensation every time I moved, and the exhibition space that utilized natural light was so beautiful.

Milan Photo Shoot | Feast your eyes at the Prada Foundation headquarters
After watching 'The Devil Wears Prada', you might have a slight understanding of the brand's temperament, and the temperament of the Prada Foundation headquarters is equally impressive. The function of the Prada Foundation headquarters is also based on exhibition display, located in the southern part of Milan at Largo Isarco, designed by Rem Koolhaas, the chief architect of the OMA metropolitan architecture firm.
The main building complex of the Prada Foundation is a renovation of a distillery from the 1910s, which includes 7 renovated old factory buildings and 3 newly built exhibition halls. The planning and design that interweaves the old with the new perfectly integrates the opposition and unity of form, space, and color spectrum. While being highly design-oriented, it also meets the needs of art exhibition display within its function.
Wes Anderson, the director of 'The Grand Budapest Hotel', was also specially invited to design the Bar Luce cafe... offering an enhanced artistic experience of time and space.
