Teamlab: a forest where gods live
If you've been to a teamlab exhibit, you know what to expect. What makes this one special is the location. The park is beautiful with different venues spread everywhere. Some pieces resemble others featured in different locations, e.g. the pound where the carps projections are feels like the one in teamlab Planets in Tsukiji, Tokyo. That said, the location itself gives a different vibe to the pieces.
Wear comfortable shoes and be careful when walking around as the place can be quite dark in some places.
There are 2 gates and one opens 1 hour later, at 20:00. I would suggest entering earlier so you don't have to rush to see everything.

A Must-Visit Attraction
The Four Seasons of Mifuneyama Rakuen Offer Different Scenery. Although There Are No Flowers in November, the Red Leaves Are Beautiful. You Can Take Photos by the Lake and See Different Views Every Few Steps. Along the Mountain Path, You Can See Not Only Red Leaves but Also Some Fruit Trees and Ginkgo Trees. I Even Met a Very Friendly and Cute Cat. You Can Drive Yourself or Join a Day Tour. I Joined a Day Tour, and There Was Enough Time for Sightseeing and Taking Photos.

Kyushu Flower Viewing Spots
Takefune Mountain Park - Known as Kyushu's most beautiful Japanese garden, it offers different sceneries in spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The guide took real shots for us of the spectacular 'Azalea Valley' during the azalea season, with Takefune Mountain as the backdrop, about 200,000 azalea plants bloom, forming a complete carpet of flowers.
Yutoku Inari Shrine - Along with Fushimi Inari and Kasama Inari, it is known as one of Japan's three major Inari shrines. The shrine worships the guardian deity of people's basic needs, attracting 3 million worshippers every year, making it extremely popular. During the flower season, azaleas and wisteria also drape the treetops, making it one of Saga's flower viewing spots.
Ureshino Onsen - One of Japan's three famous skin-beautifying hot springs, the spring water is rich in sodium, which can soften the skin's keratin, making the skin tender, hence it's called 'Beauty Skin Hot Spring'. Drinking it can also improve the functions of the intestines and liver. Not only 'beauty skin', but it can also make you a 'beauty' from the inside out.

Mifuneyama Rakuen, Takeo, Saga, Japan
We visited Mifuneyama Rakuen in late April. It was so beautiful and relaxing there. A wonderful place for family to visit. I would love to visit again in different seasons.
Kyushu, Japan - A Favorite for Both Adults and Children: Mifuneyama Rakuen Hotel
The Mifuneyama Rakuen, loved by both adults and children, is a famous attraction located in Takeo, Kyushu, known for its ship-shaped mountain top and sea of flowers. Cherry blossoms, azaleas, wisteria, autumn leaves... they bloom in succession, making every season beautiful! Especially in May, during the azalea season, the entire mountain top is covered with a colorful sea of flowers, which is quite magnificent and vibrant, making it the best season to visit Mifuneyama.
The scenery is vastly different between day and night, and to fully appreciate the beauty of Mifuneyama, it is highly recommended to stay at the park hotel for a night! Mifuneyama Hotel has collaborated with teamLab, integrating the colorful interactive light installation art ingeniously into every corner of the hotel. As soon as you enter the lobby, you are greeted by lanterns twinkling in the darkness, sometimes pink, sometimes deep blue, making it hard to find the reception desk while you're too busy taking beautiful photos XD
The hotel offers two different styles of rooms. One is the authentic Japanese tatami room with a garden, the 'Old Pine' room type, which is spacious enough to sleep 10 people, with its own corridor and garden, outdoor hot spring, and Japanese-style bedding. You can even choose to have dinner in the room, so comfortable that you don't want to move. The other area has modern Western-style rooms, but with a very strong design sense, offering a contrasting and fresh style that young people like.
Although the Old Pine room has its own outdoor hot spring, it is still highly recommended to visit the public bath, where the men's and women's baths are swapped daily. The public bath also has an outdoor area, and the most special part is the rest area, which is an industrial-style glass building. On the second floor, there is a fireplace for roasting marshmallows, and lounge chairs for enjoying the view outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. A cherry tree is planted right beside it, and watching the pink petals fall into the hot spring pool is incredibly beautiful and atmospheric!
The meals are also impressive. Breakfast is served in the public dining area of the hot spring hotel, and it's extravagant, covering the entire table with a lavish spread! It's highly recommended to visit Takeo, not just for a quick look, but to stay a night at Mifuneyama Rakuen, enjoy the flowers, soak in the hot springs, see the teamLab exhibition, and after checking out, visit Takeo Shrine and the library. Along the way, you'll also be surrounded by a sea of flowers, a truly breathtaking sight.

Flowers and space
Mifuneyama Raku is full of flowers. It is located at the foot of Mount Mifune in Takeo City and covers 500,000 square meters. The garden was created as a resting place for the feudal ruler of these places. To get into the spirit of Japan, visit the local tea house and admire the statues of five hundred disciples of the Buddha.
How to get there
From Takeo-Onsen Station, the garden can be reached in five minutes by taxi or a 25-minute walk.
Sakura and more
In spring, many people come to Mifuneyama Raku to admire the blooming sakura, plum and azaleas. In summer, lanterns are hung here, which turn the natural colors of the garden into a fabulous landscape.

Takeo Onsen Paradise
The lord of Takeo during the Edo period spent three years building a private garden, with beautiful scenery all year round and birds singing. Standing on the flower viewing platform overlooking the garden, the white cherry blossom forest in front of you, next spring will be another beautiful scene!

After going to Teamlab in Odaiba, I finally started to brush some of the small areas of Teamlab.
After seeing the dream scene of Teamlab and Dream 787 from Nagoya Central Airport, I feel that there should be no more surprises.
I didnt expect to see another surprise in the Wuxiong Hot Springs in Nagasaki: the Mifune Mountain Paradise, and the scene that Teamlab did on the ruins really refreshed the cognition. Architecture, nature, lighting, humanities, and design are new and old, natural and man-made, and creative and decadent.
can only say a word.
The key issue is: Compared to the Odaiba, there are many people who have to make an appointment to enter. There are almost no tourists here, with! Just! beat! !
