I was amazed by the beauty of the B&B in Xingping Ancient Town, Yangshuo! The filming location of the 20-yuan RMB ticket really lived up to my expectations! The view is absolutely stunning! This internet-famous homestay is really a hit! The rooftop has an infinity pool, a carousel, and a skyscape... There are so many scenes to shoot! The room also has a floating bathtub, and you can enjoy the mountain view in the bathtub, which is very photogenic! It’s so fun to take photos! The hotel is located close to the famous 20RMB landmark and right next to the river. Its around 20 minutes drive from Yangshuo railway station and the hotel can organise a free pickup and drop-off if you message them. The service was really warm and helpful at the checkin desk and the driver was talkative and friendly. As for the room? It’s amazing! The bathtub is it’s stand out feature but its also spacious, comfortable and clean. Upstairs has a really cool swimming pool with a breathtaking backdrop - ideal if you want to take incredible pictures. The only downside for me was the location. Its about an hour drive from Yangshuo so be aware before you book. This place is better suited if you plan on enjoying the area close by and the hotels features.

Yangshuo is only half an hour from Guilin by train. There are various boutique hotels with stunning views! The local people are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Apart from taking a cruise in the Li River, there are many other tourist attractions and activities. Rent a bike to explore nearby villages or take a hot air balloon ride or a microlight to get a 360-view of Yangshuo. There are also walking trails to the top of a mountain, with equally breathtaking views. For those who love the nightlife, taking a taxi to West-Street might be a good option. #newyearnewtrip During our visit to Lijiang, the hotel we stayed provided breakfast which was beautifully presented in a nine-grid bamboo tray, with each compartment holding a variety of foods such as steamed corn, steamed buns, small apples, nuts, tomatoes and sweet potato. Vegetarian rice noodles were served separately in bowls and the most coolest thing, we could request unlimited refills for items within the tray. Additionally, there was a small buffet table offering only hot porridge, completing a simple yet delightful morning meal experience.

We booked a hotel near Yangshuo Station. We looked around the area before booking and finally chose this one - Yangshuo Banshan Yunshui Hotel. It is inside the scenic area and has a super good location. Directly opposite the hotel is the main peak of the 20-yuan background - Yuanbao Mountain, which is right in front of us. When you check in, the hotel front desk will introduce you to the surrounding attractions, give you travel suggestions, and introduce the hotel room facilities, which is very considerate and thoughtful. The most noteworthy thing is the hotel's photo platform. Friends who like taking photos can stay there for half a day. The sky mirror, infinity pool, and bohemian-style Turkish platform allow even those with clumsy hands to take great photos. During the stay, I enjoyed butler-style service. All the staff greeted me warmly. The hotel environment was also quite good, very cozy and comfortable. The hotel is near the 20-yuan background viewing platform and the bamboo raft pier, within walking distance, which is very convenient. Mid-Mountain Cloud & Water hotel is an outstanding and luxurious hotel which will take your breath away. It is located in Yangshuo. The location is just perfect: quiet environment, serene surroundings, excellent view to the mountains, and the river is just few minutes walking distance. You can perfectly stay two or three nights of your holidays in this place to enjoy a relaxing experience as you do some of the the activities nearby. We must Thank Lynn (豆芽) for being so friendly, supportive and kind. She is doing progress in her English but she did her best effort to communicate with us patiently. The hotel offers impeccable facilities with incredible amenities, all the rooms and suites are beautifully decorated with style. Rooms are equipped with all the toiletries (soap, towels, comb, toothbrushes, shampoo, etc). Also the amazing bathtub makes more enjoyable the room.
