Places you can't miss in Kuala Lumpur!
🇲🇾Places you can't miss in Kuala Lumpur! The 4-day itinerary is all here
Visa-free travel is really so convenient! Remember to fill out the MDAC online three days in advance
⛅️The weather in Kuala Lumpur is unpredictable, always carry an umbrella. It rained during my visit, but only for an hour or two each time. The sun comes out immediately after the rain, melting everything 🫠
Itinerary🔖
Day1: Arrive in Kuala Lumpur in the evening - Wong Ah Wah Snacks - Check into hotel
Day2: Lot 10 Shopping Plaza - Kuala Lumpur Independence Square - City Gallery - River of Life - TG'S Bistro for super long tower pie - Take photos of the Petronas Twin Towers at night
Day3: Ah Hee Bak Kut Teh for lunch - Central Market for souvenirs - Seafoot Man for dinner - DurianBB Park
Day4: KLCC - Village Park Restaurant for nasi lemak - Pink Mosque - Return home
Food🥢
🥥Wong Ah Wah Snacks, visited by many celebrities, has great young coconut and shrimp paste kangkong! The owner's attitude is not as bad as said online
🌊Seafoot Man deserves its Michelin rating, the mixed seafood vermicelli is bouncy and smooth, even the soup is very fresh! The drink I ordered was bird's nest swallow jelly, with lots of bird's nest and sea coconut at the bottom, very refreshing!
🫕Ah Hee Bak Kut Teh is more crowded than Sin Fung, ordered their signature dishes Bak Kut Teh, 🐔 pot, and eggplant, all tasted good
🫶🏻DurianBB Park is near Seafoot Man, they have durian platters and whole durians. The durian platter lets you taste five different flavors at once, satisfying!
🍚Village Park Restaurant is a must-visit! The fried 🐔 nasi lemak is too delicious, crispy and spicy, very fragrant! The restaurant is also always full
Photography📷
🍟McDonald's fans must check in at Lot 10 Shopping Plaza
📍Set the taxi location to Lok10 right at the HM entrance, casually posing is very photogenic! There are fewer people during the day than at night
⛪️Independence Square, City Gallery, and River of Life are all down the same road. The lawn opposite Independence Square is great for photos! It's best to go when the sun is about to set, otherwise, like me, you can't even open your eyes from the sun, but you can continue with sunglasses
🫓TG'S Bistro to check in the same tower pie as Ella, paired with sweetened condensed milk, quite nice. Also ordered seafood fried noodles which were good!
💒The Pink Mosque is outside the city center, in the direction of the airport. I went there on my way back. After taking photos, it's convenient to take a taxi to the airport
📍Set the taxi location to kelab taslik putrajava, walk inside and you'll reach the most beautiful spot of the Pink Mosque
🏨Stayed at Eaton Residences, checked in the infinity pool of the Petronas Twin Towers. No need to insist on taking photos in the water, the shore or the lounge chairs are also beautiful. Passersby can be easily removed in post-editing

But because the overall architecture is quite distinctive, it's still nice to walk through, and the adjacent Ghost Lane is worth a visit, with some interesting small shops
·
🕌Mosque
The architectural style is more modern, and there should be quite a few things to pay attention to if you want to enter
·
🖼National Museum
A systematic way to understand a country's history, you can book a Chinese tour in advance
·
🎨Little India
A colorful neighborhood, with many Indian restaurants and shops
👆All of the above are more suitable for daytime strolling~
👇🏻Then at night when you're tired, you can go shopping in the malls!

A large shopping district, with everything you need for eating, drinking, and entertainment, at Pavilion you can buy all the souvenirs (beryls chocolate, Chanel, fipper slippers, etc.)

City of Nightfall: A Magnificent Glimpse of the Kuala Lumpur Tower at Night
I have come to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the second time! This city is filled with multiculturalism and astonishing modern architecture, and I can't wait to start my exploration journey.
In the morning, I set out from the hotel, and the first stop was the famous Petronas Towers. This iconic building complex is truly spectacular! You can take an elevator to the observation deck and overlook the entire city from the 88th floor. From up there, you can see the Kuala Lumpur Tower (KL Tower) standing tall in the distance, while below are the busy streets and modern buildings. I spent a long time here, enjoying the beautiful cityscape.
📝Tips:
The standard ticket price is 80 Malaysian Ringgit (17 Euros), and the ticket price that includes skip-the-line and one-way transfer service is 100 Malaysian Ringgit (21 Euros). Both options allow you to ascend the tower and stop at the Sky Bridge (a double-decker glass platform between the 41st and 42nd floors, 170 meters high), and then proceed to the 88th-floor observation deck. I suggest you purchase tickets a few weeks in advance, as a maximum of 1,000 visitors are received each day.
Afterward, I visited the National Mosque of Kuala Lumpur (Masjid Negara), one of the largest mosques in Malaysia. Built in 1965, it is filled with modern design and decoration, and the main hall can accommodate thousands of worshippers. I felt a sense of tranquility and religious atmosphere here, a truly calming place.
In the afternoon, the Batu Caves Hindu temple, if Batu Caves is so famous, it is obviously due to its huge golden statue of the Hindu deity Murugan and the colorful stairs. But at the top of this steep staircase, there are other surprises waiting for you, there are indeed a very large stone temple and several Hindu shrines on these limestone mountains, which are situated in strata that are over 400 million years old! How impressive is that? Also known as the Cathedral Cave, this main and largest cave also boasts a 100-meter-high arched ceiling, making it even more spectacular.
The next day, Independence Square (also known as Dataran Merdeka in the local language) is where Malaysia's independence was declared on August 31, 1957. The flagpole that replaced the British flag with the Malaysian flag on that day is one of the tallest flagpoles in Malaysia. Most monuments have explanatory signs in front of them to help you understand the historical events. There are many new and interesting facts to learn, so I definitely recommend you spend some time looking around!

Merdeka Square♥️🇲🇾
#kualalumpur
It’s a good idea to stop here to find out where the annual National Day dedication takes place annually. Dome views can be seen from colonial Sultan Abdul Sand with views of the newly built 118 Merkida skyscraper at the back – a tall building that stands out. In the add-on, you can view the site where you played cricket - Royal Selangor
Merdica Square is a large colonial square in Kuala Lumpur. I assume that another time of the year, it should be very beautiful, but the day we went, all the grass and plants were dry. They were also doing construction work in some nearby buildings.
Merdica Square used to be the main area for all offices and government. Tourist center, ancient museums with historical sculptures and drawings, Sultan Abdul Samad Building, large square with huge flag. A few minutes walk leads to the River of Life and Jamek Mosque. Don't forget to take a photo near I ❤️ KL.
A historical field with many landmarks surrounding it. Just here to stop the photos so that no one on a tour actually tells me the historical value of this place#kualalumpur

Merdea Square
Merdeka Square is a historical site where Malaya declared its independence. If you are a fan of the Malayan history, you can come here and take some pictures. There are many attractions nearby the Merdeka Square. For shoppers, you can come over to Central Market Kuala Lumpur to buy some local souvenirs and food and at the same time learn about the different cultures of the society that makes up Malaysia. I highly recommend not only tourist to visit, but for locals too.

One of the Iconic Landmarks of KL
#kualalumpur
Merdeka Square or Dataran Merdeka is undoubtedly KL’s best known historical landmark, located in Jalan Raja, City Center of Kuala Lumpur. Formerly known as The Royal Selangor Club's Padang(field). This is the historical place where the Malaysian flag raised for the very first time at midnight on 31st, August 1957. Since then, Merdeka Square has been the usual venue for the annual National Day Parade. At the southern end of the square, there is a 95 meter flagpole proudly displaying the Jalur Gemilang (Malaysian flag), it's one of the tallest in the world.
The Sultan Abdul Samad Building was built in late 19th century. This iconic Indo-Saracenic & Neo-Mughal architectural style building was originally housed the offices of the British colonial administration in Malaya. Today, this historical building houses the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia and the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of Malaysia.

Malaysia 🔆 Super detailed 9-day-8-night 6k per person free trip to three cities 🔆
✅3/31-4/3 Kuala Lumpur visited Jalan Alor, Chinatown, Jamek Mosque, City Gallery, Merdeka Square, and two bustling local night markets!
✅4/3-4/4 Malacca The attractions in Malacca are very concentrated! Visit the Pink Mosque (wear a robe because shorts are not allowed), where free robe rentals are available at the entrance. Jonker Street and St. Paul's Church are must-visit places!
✅4/4-4/5 Bukit Tinggi. Because I have to fly to Kota Kinabalu from Kuala Lumpur on 4.5, I went to Bukit Tinggi on 4.4 from Malacca, which is very close to the airport.
✅4/5-4/8 Kota Kinabalu went to the sea and visited the Enchanting Island, which was breathtakingly beautiful! We also went to Tanjung Aru Beach (said to be one of the three most beautiful sunsets in the world), Sabah University, Gaya Street Market, and the local night market! The monkeys at Sabah University were huge, and we rented a scooter for three hours but still didn't finish exploring. Sisters, please note that if you don't return the scooter by 5 o'clock, they will charge you!
[3/31-4/3 Kuala Lumpur]📍
[Accommodation]🏨ibis Kuala Lumpur City hotel in the center of Kuala Lumpur city.
Near KLCC, there is a rooftop infinity pool! Just a few steps away from the Twin Towers! (Personally, I think this hotel offers great value for money! The bed is very comfortable.) Malaysian hotel registration requires MYR10/night.
[Food]🍜There's a noodle shop: the taste of rice noodles is good! The pulled tea is super delicious!
🍜Zhongnanji Bak Kut Teh: The soup base is rich in herbal flavor! There is no menu, the boss will ask how many people and help you with the combination!
🍜Ate a lot of delicious food at the night market! Durian fritters! Unnamed mixed noodles! Satay skewers! All tasted super good!
[4/3-4/4 Malacca]📍
[Accommodation]🏨 Moty Hotel
The front desk service attitude is super friendly, the hotel room is very large, but slightly old, bonus points for having a bathtub!
[Food]🍜Nonya Peranakan Place: Delicious Nonya cuisine! Highly recommended! Laksa and Nasi Ulam are really tasty!
🍜Geographer's Cafe: A hot spot for summer scenes with "Momo Tea". The overall atmosphere is very chill! They serve coffee, alcoholic beverages, and meals! [4/4-4/5 Buc City]📍
[Accommodation]🏨Cbyberview Resort Spa
A vacation hotel that costs around 300, with great value for money! There are beautiful gardens and swimming pools outside, as well as various entertainment facilities such as hot springs!
[4/5-4/8 Kota Kinabalu]📍
[Accommodation]🏨Sky Hotel
There is a large window where you can see the sunset over the mountains, which is very beautiful!

Merdeka Square at Kuala Lumpur city centre
Visited Merdeka square Kuala Lumpur at the heart of the city. It is situated just in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. They use this square for annual National Day Parade. Visit during the night can enjoy lighting and able to take some nice photos. This is the place where the Malaysian Flag was first hoisted after independence. The Masjid Jamel LRT station is about 10mins walk from this square. It is definitely a good night out walking around this area enjoying the colonial British style landmark.

Night walk at Merdeka Square
One of the iconic history site in the heart of the city of Kuala Lumpur, Dataran Merdeka (Merdeka Square) is a location that usually took place for Indepence Day of Malaysia on 31st August.
It is a great spot to lepak with friends, enjoying the view of historic building Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad, the field, KL Tower, and Petronas.
Usually, the road was closed- but I’m not sure for what reason. Oh and yeah, at night, a quick stroll around the area is a whole vibe. Most people rented out scooters to ride around, and there’s food trucks so you can enjoy snacking or sip on drinks.
Behind the Sultan Abdul Samad building, there’s path ways and you can see River of Life KL. A new landscape for the area as it is nearby to Masjid Jamek also.
Back in 2018 or 2019, an art festival Urbanscapes took place there and it has changed my view towards Malaysia Tanah Airku. There’s so much more than just a plain city, the essence of the history that makes Malaysia special at heart.
Here’s some part of Merdeka Square I managed to snap!

And went to the upper level to see the miniature of KL City. Fun interacting by taking pictures. Dataran Merdeka was awesome. Worth pf picture capturing. The weather was not that good as it was raining. Stopby Pavilion before ending the day back to the hotel..
