I was worried that it would keep raining because it was the rainy season, but it was better than I thought! It rained on and off, but it was okay to go out and play. However, it would be good to bring a folding umbrella or raincoat! First travel destination. Phu Quoc Vin Wonders Taking pictures in front of the fairy tale castle, the symbol of Vin Wonders, is a must! There are a lot of people, so you have to avoid them and take pictures. ㅎㅎ The aquarium also has a lot of fish, so you won't know how much time passes if you look around. You can also buy pretty decorations at the souvenir shop. Second travel destination. Phu Quoc Sunset Town Grand World next to Vin Wonders is popular, but we thought Sunset Town was prettier. It was cloudy so we didn't get to see the pretty sunset, but if you go on a clear day, the sunset is said to be a spectacular sight, so I recommend you see it! The night market is full of things to eat and see, and the only Starbucks in Phu Quoc, so be sure to visit. Third destination. Mercury Phu Quoc Resort You can enjoy your trip even from your accommodation :-) The Mercury Phu Quoc Resort where we stayed has a private pool, so you can have private fun. Thanks to that, you can swim once a day as a basic, and if you play in the public pool, you can get afternoon tea! The accommodation is right in front of the ocean, so you can have an ocean view breakfast. ㅎㅎ The staff were so kind, and I liked it even more because there weren't many Koreans. I wanted to make the New Year a little more special, so I booked a gala dinner at my accommodation while traveling in Vietnam💕 It was a really special New Year's Eve. Went to Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam for a few days and stayed at Mercury Phu Quoc Island Villa Resort. This resort is located in Duong To, about 5 minutes drive from Phu Quoc International Airport, which is very convenient💁‍♂️. Nearby are Tranquility Spa, Long Beach Pearl Sales Showcase and Searama Dive Center for easy access to transportation and entertainment. The location of the entire resort is quite good, close to the beach, and you can play in the water🌊 within a few steps. The hotel’s architecture is tropical and the gardens are well-kept. The front desk is open 24 hours and the staff is warm and friendly, but the pick-up service had some hiccups when I just checked in. The room is reasonably laid out, particularly spacious, with complete facilities, including air conditioning, safe and wardrobe, etc. The room makes people feel very comfortable 🌴. The villa I stayed in was very spacious and clean, with very comfortable beds inside, which can guarantee you a good night's sleep 🛏️. In-room amenities are all available, including an electric kettle, slippers and a hairdryer. What’s more special is that it also offers delivery, so even if you’re lazy, you can enjoy the food in your room, which is very relaxing. There are many worth trying restaurants nearby, such as the seafood at Mai Spa & Resort Restaurant, the bar atmosphere at F5 restaurant & bar is very good. There is also a quite famous coffee shop nearby iris café☕, having a cup of coffee there always feels so healing. However, this stay was not flawless. First, the pick-up at check-in was a bit disappointing, gave up after a long search at the airport, and ended up taking a taxi to the hotel. Secondly, although the hotel cleans the beach once a day, there is still a bit of garbage on the beach, which is an issue that needs to be improved. Also, the location of the hotel close to the beach made travel in the rainy season slightly tricky, however luckily we caught up with a few sunny days. Overall, Mercury Phu Quoc Island Villas Resort is a perfect place to relax and unwind. Although some minor flaws exist, it does not affect the overall good experience. If you’re planning on visiting Phu Quoc, be sure to try this resort, especially its private beach and swimming pool, you won’t be disappointed.

The villa is not only spacious but also a luxurious sanctuary that exceeded all my expectations. What really impressed me was the thoughtful attention to detail. The villa comes with a full kitchen set, making it the perfect choice for those who love to cook or simply want the convenience of a well-equipped kitchen. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in a tropical paradise. The modern amenities blend seamlessly with the natural beauty of Ubud, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The villa is so elegantly designed and decorated. It’s a little hidden away but it felt like I was in a sanctuary. It’s a very peaceful place with beautiful trees and a cute little river. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to unwind and relax. The host was wonderful and very accommodating to all our requests :) Definitely a 5 star experience! The impeccable service and warm hospitality of the staff added to the overall charm of my visit. I left Villa Gian Minima with memories that I will cherish forever. Mercury Phu Quoc Resort, which prepared a shuttle bus to the city and even provided airport pick-up and drop-off! This is a place where I rested and played well enough to be considered the best cost-effective accommodation in Vietnam during my Southeast Asian trip! The second accommodation I stayed in Phu Quoc! The accommodation price is good value for money even though it's the end of the year, and the pool is well-maintained, so I'm overall satisfied! The breakfast is delicious, and you can kayak on the beach for free.
