If you like activities, you must have heard of Menjangan! This place is famous as a world-class snorkeling spot, but it is also a natural island where deer live, although there are no people. I applied for diving instead of snorkeling, but the visibility was not so good as the water got deeper… I heard that the visibility is a bit unpredictable! You can see plenty of fish and turtles even with snorkeling, so I recommend snorkeling! Menjangan does not have separate facilities, so you can only enter for 3-4 hours a day! I visited Menjangan while staying in Pemuteran, a nearby area. People from nearby areas such as Kuta in Bali also come to Menjangan on a one-day tour, but I do not recommend it for those who do not have much time. I don't think it is a place that you should spend an entire day visiting! Menjangan Island is a part of West Bali National Park. It can be reached by roads from Gilimanuk and Singaraja, or by using ferries from Ketapang Harbour, East Java because it’s basically located between Java and Bali Island! You can go to worship or pray here (official guide said that there are 9 temples here), or you can sinking in mercy's sea, doing snorkeling, diving, whatever you want! 😍 To rent a full snorkeling gear it only cost around 4 USD so of course it’s very affordable! A diving expert guide accompanied us from Lovina and safely guided us to the snorkeling point. The moment I jumped into the first point, I could immediately feel that this is why everyone goes to Menjangan, Menjangan! I couldn't take a video because I had parted ways with my underwater photography equipment in Gili, but it was truly moving. As soon as I got into the water under the guidance of a professional guide, I realized that this was a different world. I can't forget that underwater world. When I close my eyes, I still vividly remember the beautiful sight. This was the second time I felt this kind of emotion. It was the same emotion I felt during my last dive in Palau. I can't express in short words the ecstatic feeling of being in another world. The place in the photo is called Deer Island, and even if you just take a picture with your phone, it looks like National Geographic. I had lunch while watching these guys in this wonderful space, and it was so delicious because I was tired. After eating the most delicious lunch box and taking a rest, I moved to the next snorkeling point, got on a boat again, and came back on a van.
